I found another Mazda, Mazda3, I might take a look at Saturday if it's still available(hopefully). It's a manual, the I touring trim whatever that is.

“Touring package” could mean a lot of things.  I don’t know where you are, but in the US the mazda3 comes with a BUNCH of different engine options some of which are very high power/low mileage.  Might not compare to a Yaris at all.

Yeah in the US, that'd be cool. It's reasonably priced at 114k miles. I really need a new daily driver after um... Not giving myself enough space around another vehicle lol.

It's in black, with alloy wheels... Looks like it's in decent condition from the pictures.

Different engines and suspensions and stuff can have wildly different behaviors.  My car has an early high pressure turbo on it that is famous for having a habit of falling apart at 80k for example. It’s very expensive to replace.  It’s not a mazda3 of course, but it’s an example of a problem that affects a single version of a single engine for a single year.  Homework may be required.

Hmm, maybe. I was trying to avoid cars with the new CVT transmissions because I've heard of premature failure and as a college student I can't really afford downtime on the car lol.

I had a car with a cvt.  It did not go well.  My understanding is that one can be quite variable.  The lower the horsepower the more reliable CVT gets I understand.  Again, specific years and models.
