  1. Hello, my friend unfortunately had an issue with a BIOS update which bricked the motherboard. Bought a new one, all gucci. Downside is she has two monitors. If she has her first monitor plugged in, all works. If she has her second monitor plugged in, all works. If she has them both plugged in, first one stops and only the second one works. We've reinstalled graphics drivers for nvidia via a clean install, didn't fix it. We're now having a food break cause pissed off, but if anyone has an idea into what could fix it I would forever be in your debt. Thanks again, James.
  2. I'll wait and see if anyone else comments, but I suppose it's RMA time.
  3. I know about the G HDD, Replacing that as we speak with a 870 Evo. This is the D drive.
  4. Got a lot of errors and eventually failed to finish the test. Does this mean the SSD is dead?
  5. Checked now, IPV4 and my broadband IP in the router are a perfect match outside of that range.
  6. They started to work but also I've just checked on my phone and it's came back. It's not always broken, it can be off fort wo hours or two days. Annoyingly right after I make this post it seems to have fixed itself. I will have to leave this post till it breaks probably over the weekend then try again. Could you please explain why you think it's the DNS? This way when BT phone up again I can explain what all of you thought. Thank you so much again,
  7. I have also flushed the DNS on this PC, however it happens across 4 PC's and 5 phones at the exact same time. Does the command do it on the routers side or local? As it wont fix phones otherwise.
  8. They typically don't work, some do. Also I've tried changing the DNS and secondary to both google and cloudflare both on my PC and my router. Didn't fix the issue.
  9. This issue has been going on for 3 weeks now and so far it's defeated 4 Network Engineers over the phone, two BT site engineers along with multiple Openreach staff(UK's Main Fibreoptic Company) including a site engineer, senior engineer and one of the heads of Openreach. In other words, every possible technician have confirmed the fault but are all dumbfounded in finding a solution. So, what is this incredible fault you may ask. 90% of websites work fine, internet working fine HOWEVER. Any website for things such as Flights, Hotels, Steam, Disney+ and now occasionally my solar energy are completely blocked. Some give weird errors, most just say "The server at x website is unreachable". I have attached photos below. So what have we done to attempt to fix this. We have replaced every ethernet cable, Factory reset the router, replaced the router, double checked all settings including turning on and off parent controls incase it bugged out, had the entire line all the way back to the exchanges checked, reset the line, signal boosted, every literal test they can do. It is EVERY device which connects to our internet. If you turn the internet off and use data, works. If you connect to another network, works. This is the fun part. If you turn a VPN on, it usually improves the results, getting atleast further or fixing some websites but not all. So, if anyone has any suggestions at all and wants a crack at it, I will be forever in your debt. All the best, James
  10. So for the last two weeks, at random times i get the below error on all my home devices. This happens when I try to view websites such as Disney plus, Hotel websites, Steam Store and a few others. Any suggestions into figuring it out would be insanely helpful. All the best, James.
  11. Sorry for the late response! Thank you guys, didn't know you could actually get USB adapted ones. Shame there's no USB 3.0 to fans as it would make it a bit better however I will go with that option
  12. Hello everyone. Been upgrading my network in my house recently. I've now got Deco M9 meshes around the house, along with Hue lighting and ethernet to most rooms. Having all the cables loose obviously doesn't look the best so I am wanting to get a small server rack for the floor. Then have the router, Main Deco and Hue controller all air cooled. I've found an okay cabinet, along with a fan front panel. So my plan is to have the tray probably on the bottom with the fan intake, then everything i want air cooled in there. Above I'd have the patch panel, switch etc. My main question is, how would I power the fans? I don't have a PC or anything in it so I'm not fully sure how I'd do it. Any help would be appreciated and I've linked the stuff I plan to get below. Thank you all very much. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000VDPBXM/?coliid=I1RIOU7D5Z18KP&colid=1ESHVS95AQ1RG&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.co.uk/Metal-Parts-Rack-Panel-Fans/dp/B00APFEZ0G/ref=sr_1_22?crid=1OSLZ5ZHXP00Z&keywords=server+rack+with+fans&qid=1685114098&sprefix=server+rack+with+fans%2Caps%2C70&sr=8-22 https://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-1U-Rack-Shelf-Cantilever/dp/B071YP4JL5/ref=sr_1_3?crid=IHGB5DOOV3EE&keywords=server+rack+tray&qid=1685117755&sprefix=server+rack+tra%2Caps%2C75&sr=8-3
  13. Or should I stick with the one I bought and just use one 8pin for my 5900x?
  14. Damn there goes my easy cable management idea. Guess I am going with lots of 8 pins, thanks for the help
  15. In short, I have a 3080 strix oc. It requires 3x 8 pins. Is there an adapter I can use so I can plug those 3 x 8 pins into a 16pin port on a PSU? For example this one https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/power-supply-units/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-1000g/
  16. That's fair however I've had 3 games crash in similar manners now. Therefore I wouldn't blame the games but something else, hence PSU
  17. I am not comfortable disassembling a power supply, especially if it's possibly faulty.
  18. that's the lowest. it dropped from 600w to that and reboots.
  19. Forgot I also have this plug which tells me the power usage. If you watch the above video, this is what happens in that moment.
  20. It has BSOD' a few times but so fast I wasn't able to even see the writing. Since doing the repair it's stopped that but still cuts out. I limited my frames to 60 and it didn't stop the error however it got further. That's why I'm thinking the power spike during intense moments is crashing it. No BSOD, all USB and fans stop. It's not a windows crash but the PC itself. And for sure, this PSU has been outstanding and I've made older ones which are still alive. I just think I've got unlucky and this one has finally kicked the bucket.
  21. ran SFC /scannow, fixed some stuff but issue is still there. I've deleted and reinstalled all Mobbo / CPU chipsets etc. It's a pretty recent install of windows, no additional bloatware.
  22. Took this video No bluescreen, all my fans, anything in USB etc stop. Then it reboots.
