Hi. I've been streaming daily (or close to it) for several days and I've been beginning to notice an issue where when I alt-tab out of the game (maybe to turn something down or change a setting), my mouse simply refuses to track properly in-game. The mouse "slows down" from normal in-game sensitivity and jumps/stutters, rendering the game unplayable. The mouse even functions fine in the menus and all; just not in-game. For what it's worth, my settings are as follows: DPI: 800 Windows Sensitivity: 6 Mouse acceleration off Anyone know how to fix this?

I've recently been getting very low FPS and high input lag in Overwatch, which my computer used to handle flawlessly (most settings on Epic, 120+ FPS on average). Now, the game's been turned down to nearly all low settings and I experience lower FPS and input lag spikes. Every other game I own works fine. How can I fix this?

the G Pro keyboard (yes, it is a keyboard) is RGB and mechanical.

The G610, G810, and G Pro are very minimalistic, if that's your aim.

Not to be the "Razer is shit" guy, but I would recommend staying away. I have not had a good experience with Razer equipment. Don't like Corsair? SteelSeries and Logitech both make excellent equipment that may suit your aesthetic tastes. The Razer stuff, from personal experience, is overpriced for what it is and isn't exactly up to par with build quality.

I'm finally inclined to pick up a wired headset, as my Arctis 7 headset died and I'm sick of my Sony PS3 wireless headset. (the first model; it has gone through much abuse and literally refuses to die) What should I be looking for? I don't want to spend a ton, but I'll spend as much as necessary to get a good pair. I probably will not have more than $130 on hand, though. I just want the best deal for the money; I'm not looking to max out the budget here. What specs should I look for or what models should I watch for?

We have a working i7 already from his Alienware rig; we figured there wasn't much point to buying a CPU when we had a very good working one already.

@seon123 @QuantumBit I'm concerned that, with a lack of fans, the PC will get too hot. My rig has been having issues with heat during the hotter months from this specifically. Will a nicer case eliminate the need for it?

If i dont already use v-sync, will I see a difference in 144hz still?

I've been looking into investing in a monitor this year, as my old BenQ RL2455HM is showing its age. Upon doing some research, it seems I have two choices under $250 (rough guess of budget since I won't know until Christmas); -2560x1080, 60hz, IPS -1920x1080, 144hz, TN I only have an RX 480, so I don't know how well I could push ultrawide. I mainly play Overwatch and CS:GO but I was looking to get some AAA games over the winter. I also typically turn V-sync off due to the awful input lag. Which is a better option for my hardware and the price?

I dont know if this is just the specific model, but my Z97 Anniversary has performed so badly that I'm afraid to overclock on it. Initially struggled to stay stable but it seems to be working okay now. Just pick a well-rated one and you should be okay.

I would be wary of MSI motherboards. I haven't checked that specific model but MSI has a very poor reputation in that sector of the market. Also, I would just get the AF120s instead of the Sickleflows in order to ensure everything matches well. Good fans too. Unless you insist on having the RGBs on the water block, the H100i v2 is a better option. Other than those things, I like the build.

Thanks for the advice guys! I have a few questions though. 1) We don't have a stock cooler so we will need an external one. Should I just grab a Hyper 212 Evo and call it a day? I was gonna budget for an H100i but that seems like extreme overkill in this situation. 2) It looks like we can purchase a decent 1080p 144hz monitor. Will he see any gains with a 1070 over a 1060 6GB in this situation.
