  1. I'm literally explaining to you that I'm working with a freelancer on a project and on my desktop, windows keeps blocking the program. The program worked fine on two other laptops and as a last option, I'm resorting to disabling the real-time protection.
  2. I'm literally not destroying my system. Windows is anal with certain programs and especially program builds when I'm working with freelancers. If you aren't going to help, that's fine, I hope someone else will.
  3. I'm not a newb at this. I ran registry commands, and it still won't turn off. Do you actually have methods that I could use to turn it off or?
  4. A freelancer is doing work for me, and Windows defender doesn't like his program builds for some odd reason. With windows firewall off, it still doesn't work.
  5. It won't let me install certain programs that I use for work. Why is it grayed out?
  6. I have the latest version of Windows and now, I can't turn off Real-Time Protection. https://i.gyazo.com/b199fee527dab5b52da2f9e52859f943.png Someone help.
  7. @syn2112 @energycore Extreme settings on Heaven Benchmark got me like a 2,000 score or something. Above 70 FPS all the time. So it's WatchDogs 2 lol. I'll reinstall it and hope for the best
  8. @Energycore Can you verify that I ran DDU correctly? What am I doing wrong?
  9. I used DDU, did a "Clean and restart" in Safe Mode. I used Windows update to update the windows version and it also installed update for the NVIDIA. Then I used GeForce Experience to download + express install the latest driver for the GTX 1080. Still, I get around 30-60 frames IN THE MENU and ~20FPS on Ultra settings and ~20FPS on low settings. Device Manager, under display adapters, only shows NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080. Here is DxDiag:
  10. I'll try all of this tomorrow and let you guys know. Thanks.
  11. I just upgraded my GPU, case and Motherboard today. I am also getting three 120MM fans in tomorrow, just to throw in RGB fans. SPECS --------- CPU: Intel i5-4670K @ 3.4Ghz RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16GB RAM (recently purchased) GPU: Zotac 1080 AMP EXTREME! 8GB (The one Linus recommended in his holiday buyers guide) Motherboard: ASUS Z97-Pro Gamer OS: Windows 10 64bit Case: NZXT H440 SSD: Crucial 2.5inch - 275GB or so. PROBLEM ----------- My GTX 770 2GB was running WatchDogs 2 better than my GTX 1080 is. I play games at 1080 resolution, 60Hz. I'm getting ~20FPS on low settings! And I'm also getting ~20FPS on Ultra settings. OTHER INFO ----------- All drivers are up to date. Someone mentioned that the CPU + GPU would be bottlenecking each other. I really don't want to drop another $400 on a i7-6800 or related. I also don't want to buy a CPU that's on the cheaper side of things, I rather go all out and future-proof these parts. Thank you!
  12. Got the system to post and it's all running. I'll make a different post about this but for some reason I'm getting ~20FPS running WatchDogs 2 with a GTX 1080..
  13. I got the computer to turn on. All fans are spinning and the GPU's lights are on. The motherboard has a red LED light. Even when it's turned off. I googled it and apparently it's RAM issues. I don't believe that a Corshair 8x2 16GB wouldn't work. It's DDR3 and the motherboard supports DDR3. The motherboard is a LGA 1150 and the RAM supports that. Any ideas on why it's red? Also, No USB ports work. Both on motherboard and case. And no video feed both from GPU or motherboard.
