  1. How long do your after parties run now? I would really like it if you could carry on uploading the after parties like originally were done when WAN show started. I never watch the stream so exclusively watch the archive and miss having the after party to just chuck on my second monitor while doing work. If thats at all possible, I would greatly appreciate it. Even if its unlisted like they used to be, it would be great!!!
  2. Hi LTT, I recently finished my nvidia surround set up with 1xhdmi, 1x dvi-d and 1x DP to hdmi active converter. I like the ability to play games in 16:3 with my 1x 5760x1080 resolution with nvidia surround but like the ability to have multiple taskbars with display fusion and fullscreen videos on only one screen that 3 seperate 1920x1080 resolutions bring. My question is, is there anyway to play full screen 5760x1080 games without enabling nvidia surround? Sorry if this post was consfusing, I worded it as best I could. I have attached a picture of my current 3x 1920x1080 resolution set up below. Edit: The black bars at the bottom are due to different resolutions (HDTVS which cant have overscan manually turned off)
  3. Honestly? I use the modmic and the quality is amazing for skype, team speak what ever. Its also cheap so you can spend your money else where on other things! Unless you use speakers instead of headphones. That makes this message redundant. Bye bye
  4. Hi guys, A retailer in my home country of New Zealand is about to have a crazy 12 hour sale tomorrow and I am unsure what speakers I should buy. My two options currently stand at; Logitech z600 for $64 NZD or $51 USD (http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=SPKLOG2445891&qr=ec_12hr-OctoberA_56) Logitech z506 for $87 NZD or $69 USD (http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?z=p&p=SPKLOG1196579&name=LOGITECH-Z506-Surround-Sound-Speakers-5.1-channel-) Are the cheaper z600 an alright desktop speaker for standard youtube/movie/casual games? I like the ability to stream wirelessly from my phone/shield/computer and also like the look but I would also like the sub and speaker set up from the z506... I will use headphones for any serious gaming or immersive experiences and my current speaker set up comes from a budget HDTV so anything really is an upgrade. What do I get?? Thanks for the help in advance
  5. Just found a Toshiba webcam, I think it is newer so there could be a chance of drivers? Brand: Toshiba Model: PA3554U-1CAM
  6. Good Afternoon, So I am looking to jerry rig myself a head tracking type rig using a couple of IR LED's and a webcam. My problem is, the only webcam I can found around the house is an old genius branded one which I got free with a laptop in around '07. Can I please get some help tracking down some drivers for this to work with my current set up? That would be muchly appreaciated! Webcam: Brand: Genius Model No.: VideoCAM GF112 Serial No.: 129867505280 Computer: Windows 8.1 x64
  7. Hi LTT Forums, I have a slight problem with my shield where as I was using it the other day and I wanted to use my computers headphones, so I disabled my shield audio in my windows playback devices tab. Now I am unable to re-enable it and it is not showing up. I have tried restarting both my PC and Shield. I am unsure as to whether there is a way to reset my audio settings? Or do I have to do a video driver/GeForce experience wipe?? It is now annoying that when I want to play away from my PC, the audio is now coming out of my PC headphones. I have also tried alt-tabing while streaming to see if it shows up then. Thanks
  8. I have the g400s, solid mouse with ample buttons and great tactile buttons I use a loose palm with more control in the finger tips
  9. Steelseries Qck is a highly recommended pad but personally I haven't used it so I cant say. All of these peripherals are personal preference, so for me it is: Keyboard: Corsair k70 w/ red switches for fast key presses along with backlighting and the amazing scroll volume wheel Mouse: Logitech g400s, imo best fps mouse for its light and rugged build (Deathadder feels flimsy and could break very easily), There aren't a whole heap of buttons but they're not really necessary for non mmo/rpg style games. Mousepad: I prefer a hard mousepad so I use a logitech g series pad which is around a medium-large size Optional but recommended: Mouse bungy: I use a roccat mouse bungy but they're super simple to make and are awesome if you are annoyed by your mouse cord! The reason I bought this one was down to its built in usb hub which is really nice Happy Hunting!
  10. laser<optical for fps and other more precise games I personally own a g400s which imo is one of the best fps mice for presicion and features. I also own a g700 which is great for its buttons along with wireless which isnt great for prescion but is great for ease of use and no cord drag. Happy buying

    Cleaning K70?

I recently cleaned my k70 and found a few things: *Try to go with the brushed aluminium if using a cloth or bud that is easily degradable like a cotton bud, the grain of the metal is rough enough to pull them apart easily and it leaves behind more lint that before you started *The corners of the cherry keys are quite sharp so will mess up your cloth fairly easily so try to avoid hitting the corners For me personally I used cotton tips with a small amount of rubbing alcohol just to break through a few dried up spills that were on my board and also pick up dust more easily! Have fun cleaning your board and I hope it doesnt got too badly
  12. Location lol, Living in New Zealand, the cost to get it here with current pricing would be a lot more than its worth but I guess budget is around 80-90 usd. I would love a g10 and h50/55!!
  13. Hey guys, I just finished a rebuild of my pc and am currently in a hitch. My whole system is nice and queit except for my extremely loud and annoying reference gtx 670 made by EVGA. There is a huge problem out there with this annoying buzz and I think its time I get rid of it. I am looking for an aftermarket cooler that not only works at keeping the card cool but is also silent and retains some of the original style that the sleek reference design with held. Here are my requirements: *#1 Keeps the card quiet and cool *Retains some of the style *Is relatively cheap i.e Not a watercooling hybrid gold plated ac unit *Remains small. The last point is why I will not be purchasing the arctic cooling mono or dual coolers as they are just way too large and pretrude too far out from the card looking ridiculous. There are a lot of older coolers like the scythe mushashi or products from deepcool and zalman which fit the bill except I am unsure to whether or not they will fit Thanks for the help and I hope that I can get this sorted! Sorry for the long post
  14. While using the file explorer for either my 500gb wd blue drive which stores my os or my 3tb seagate barracuda storage drive, the file explorer takes a very long time to render thumbnails and occasionally needs to render all the files again. Aswell as that, right clicking on a file and selecting the properties results in a wait of around 5 minutes to finally see the window pop up. I had to reboot into safe mode to clear some drivers and the problem is non existant so could it be a program slowing me down? Has the problem been around? Thanks for the help
  15. So with the r4 I ideally would like to only have 1 240 rad and maybe at a strech put in a 120 only if completely necessary. If I were to only overclock my cpu and leave my gpu running at stocks, would temps be alright on the solo 240? Or would I need the extra 120?? Thanks for all the quick responses! This forum is amazing
