  1. If you want a quick shortcut, just bring it to pc cleaner. They'll be happy to clean it for you and make it like it's new. Or, buy a electric component cleaner. It's like a high pressure spray bottle, basically you can spray to to anything you want except your own body parts. SOAK? absolutely not.
  2. What? I'd like to make my own router that would forward my http/https requests through a proxy server. Example: My iPhone ---requests HTTP(S)--> My Wireless Router --forward those request to--> proxy server. Why? Because I deal with multiple devices (android, tablet, computer, etc). Meaning that set a proxy setting in each device is not an option. How? Is there any settings on DD-WRT(or any other OS) for this? or Any suggestion on the easy way to achieve this? Further development: IP Filter. i.e: Specific IP get forwarded to proxy server, others use direct connection. Multiple IP Filter to Particular Proxy Server. i.e: local IP uses x proxy, .com uses y proxy Multiple WAN. WAN1: Direct connection only. WAN2: Direct connection+proxy (smart mode). WAN3: Proxy only. VPN for torrent. Any peer to peer connection, uses VPN Connection.
  3. Only when you can't see the chipset anymore.
  4. Millions of reasons. Need more details.
  5. Wish I could help! Br from 10000 miles away...
  6. Alright, Alright. Yes, it's moved. But it's moved to the position where it could not possibly be usable.
  7. You know, there're only 2 kind of voltages in this world. 110V and 220V (with of course +- range). And all electronic devices are made to match one of them or both of them. From your story, you must be meaning that you're currently living in 220V side of the world, and if you move to 110V side of the world will it still be usable? And unfortunately, both The UPS and PSU you mentioned absolutely won't work. Well at least you haven't bought your PSU yet, so make sure you buy the PSU for both 110V and 220V (don't cheap out). Then later when you move to 110V side of the world, if you still fancy a UPS, buy another one.
  8. Well..basically removed. haha. Cause now every one needs both hand just to open a windows explorer. (Win + D)
  9. What you need to do is to check the 'INPUT' detail of the PSU. Just like a phone charger or laptop adapter, there's details written on it. Check out a PSU detail below: It's clearly written that the input could vary between 100V to 240V. So if your PSU states something similar, then yes, you can use it.
  10. Not really. I'd just buy tp-link. They have many range of specs for power line. Should be meaning they have many experience in this. p.s: Tbh, I don't trust powerline also. Cause the stability is kinda sh*t as well. I'd only go for running LAN cable downstairs no matter what. Cause you don't want to get angry and used up your energy just because the internet is down for about 2 minutes 5-10 times in a week, PLUS needing to restart this..unplug that..bla bla. I might die younger. lol.
  11. I think we have different definition in 'quality'. For me, Quality as in two GTX 980 one in Chinese unknown brand, one Asus brand, means that Asus got higher quality. Not like higher spec. But ya, if your definition of quality is that, then it's correct.
  12. +Quality of pc == +electricity bill? do you mean the opposite? Higher quality decrease the electricity bill. Because it's more efficient.
