  1. So, the problem I have is that windows boots normally, my monitor is 144hz and when I put my password I can totally see that is not running at that speed because the card has not yet been recognized. I currently have an RTX 2080, but before I had a GTX 1070 that used to do the same. So after maybe 45 seconds everything loads I even see a notification that I connected a Gsync monitor. i uninstalled Geforce experience and still happening the same. Drivers are up to date. already got out of ideas what could be happening. And I don't think that's normal.

  3. Two months ago I received and old CPU with some decent specs (for its time) and I decided to give a shot and do some upgrades. The specs are: Asus p6t deluxe Intel I7 920 12gb DDR3 Corsair C650M For the GPU I decided to go with a 1070 and bought the FE. The problem is that with some games It gets some frame drops to 42fps very constantly. This GPU is supposed to run 1440p without problem. and I'm having this issues at 1080p... I went to Bestbuy and changed the GPU for a FTW and got exactly same results. (At least now is cooler). I have tried different ''solution'' like Deactivating Xbox dvr, downgrading / upgrading drivers and configuring these setup nvidia gave me: Open "NVIDIA Control Panel" > "3D Settings" > "Manage 3D Settings" > "Global Settings" • Power management model – prefer maximum performance • Threaded optimization – off • Triple buffering – off • Vertical sync – off • Maximum pre rendered frames – 3 This also did not work and I saw some people with similar problems... I still have the same issue on games such Batman AN, Assassins creed Unity, Assassin's creed Syndicate, or gta IV. The GPU is not OC, the CPU is. If you know what might be causing it please help!
