  1. I would check Event Viewer to see what the last event was. Also, another good thing to try would be to tap F8 when starting up your computer. There should be an option to prevents your computer from turning off automatically. You may be getting a BSOD, but the computer restarts so quickly that you're unable to see the actual error. If your computer still restarts without displaying an error messages I'd say it's pretty safe to say that your PSU needs to be upgraded. Edit: Just saw your last post. Glad you were able to fix it!
  2. Hold the Windows Key + R. This opens the "Run" window. Type "firewall.cpl" (no quotes) and hit Enter On the left hand side click on "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall" Check to see if any of your browsers on listed there You can also try turn off your firewall to see if that helps. Also when you open a browser does it mention anything about proxy servers? If so, try this: From the Start Menu type "Internet Options" (again, no quotes). Click on the "Connections" tab Click "LAN Settings" Make sure nothing is checked under Proxy server If you're using anti-virus software you may want to uninstall it to see if that resolves your issue. Usually reinstalling the software resolves the issue.
  3. Hi sorry for late reply. I've been at work all day. When I don't use the MST it works fine, but I'm using three different outputs: Dual-link DVI, HDMI and Displayport which I believe to be causing immense screen tearing during Eyefinity gameplay. Also, yes they are plugged into the same GPU. Everything is plugged into the 7970 which is the closest GPU to the CPU. I'm not overclocking my GPUs. Reseating the hub does nothing.
  4. Does this issue occur in any other browsers or just Internet Explorer? What other browsers have you used? Have you tried disabling all extensions? You can also try resetting your Chrome browser http://malwaretips.com/blogs/reset-chrome-settings/
  5. Hey guys, I just bought a 2560x1080 monitor and I'd like to create a multi-display setup with two other 1080P monitors. I'm currently using a Sapphire 7970 Dual X OC edition gpu in crossfire with a Gigabyte R9 280X. Intially I tried using a club3d MST. When I use two or three monitors the resolution is wildly distorted. At least one monitor is locked at 640x480. Is this supposed to happen?
  6. Anyone know where I can buy a Sapphire HD 7970 Dual X OC Boost Edition VGA RAM heatsink? I've attached a picture below for reference. I need the bigger one. I've been recommended to purchase these: http://www.ekwb.com/shop/akasa-ak-vmc01-bk-vga-ram-heatsinks.html My big concern with those is that they may fall off eventually. The ones that come with the 7970 are screwed into the PCB, so it's very secure. On top of which, I will be using an EK VGA Supremacy extended bridge edition waterblock so the waterblock will overlap the actual VRAM chips. I've attached a second picture to show what I'm talking
  7. Actually I've found some guides on replacing LED lights seem relatively simple (http://www.overclock.net/t/529361/how-to-install-leds-in-fans). Disconnect the wires from the PCB, then saunter them back on using the desired light. Make sure not to connect the + and - wires and it should work... I guess the only question now is where can I buy UV lights? I have a Phobya UV LED strip. Could I potentially buy 2 wires and snip part of the light strip off and saunter them both together? The reason why I'd rather do it this way is simply to learn. Seems like a very valuable skillset
  8. Has anyone ever replaced the LED lights on a Corsair AF120 fan with UV lights? I couldn't find any guides on this.
  9. Yeah I saw that post and that's the setup I'm striving for at the moment, but I wanted to know whether the bridge I posted from FrozenCPU supports crossfire.
  10. I think I found it. Can this be used for crossfire as well? http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16964/ex-blc-1213/EK_FC_Bridge_Dual_Parallel_CSQ_-_SLI_Connection_-_Plexi_EK-FC_Bridge_DUAL_Parallel_CSQ_Plexi.html?id=I2oczBN8&mv_pc=1136
  11. Hi guys, I'm currently using these graphics cards: Sapphire 7970 Dual-X OC Boost Edition (11197-03) GIgabyte R9 280X Windforce Edition (GV-R928XOC-3GD) These use non-reference PCBs and I'd like to know what setups people have done with non-reference PCBs. I've seen some cool builds using EK VGA Supremacy Bridge Editions couple with an EK Crossfire Bridge. I can't seem to find where to buy these bridges anywhere. Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to run my cards in parallel. Also, where's a good place to post a build log?
  12. Just found out that both of my GPUs (Sapphire HD 7970 Dual-X OC Boost and Gigabyte Windforce R9 280X) use a custom PCB. I didn't know there were various versions of the Sapphire 7970, so I assumed I had a supported version. I've already bought the Heatkiller R9 280X waterblock, opened it and applied the thermal pads. Not sure if they're returnable. At this point I'm considering getting the EK VGA Supreme Waterblock (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/18729/ex-blc-1413/EK_VGA_Supremacy_Universal_High_Performance_VGA_Cooling_Block_-_HWBOT_Edition_EK-VGA_Supremacy_HWBOT_Edition.html). If I do, do I need to buy another universal waterblock? Does this "Supreme Waterblock" only work with EK products? I'm hoping they'll work with my Heatkiller waterblocks. If it's installed just by itself, can it handle 1/2 ID and 3/4 OD tubing?
  13. Would these work for both my GPUs: the Gigabyte R9 280X windforce and the Sapphire HD 7970? http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/waterblock/3831109856697
