Im guessing the cannon camera has just a audio jack input
Most lav microphones wont have cables long enough to stretch from a person all the way to a camera. Most are designed to either go into a pocket recorder or a wireless transmitter.
Most are around £50 mark for entry level lapel microphones. The price to performance cap is around 100 to 150 mark. Once you go over that you spending a lot of money for little gain in quality.

It looks decent in my opinion as far as Cyberpower goes. I agree. Worse price/perf for GPU. You can make other quotations to other pre-built specialists to see if they can pull off a better price for your friend's rig.

You don't require a screw in the center. In fact, many cases like my own have a plastic nub inside the standoff instead of a screw hole so that the motherboard can be aligned.

Both are comparable, but the either will have an edge depending on your priority.  H150i Pro, and the other Pro Coolers, will prioritize quiet operation with lower maximum fan speed and pump speeds.  Platinum coolers prioritize performance with higher speeds.  Either one will properly cool the 3900X, it's more or less which feature set you would prefer to go after.

Ahh I see, sorry about that, I assumed and shouldn't have... in that case, yeah they aren't that much cheaper for 2TB SSDs, they're still expensive IMO. To be honest what I would do here is go for more HDDs and have an SSD cache drive maybe, but also have the HDDs in raid 0 stripe via windows storage spaces... the HDDs would read a fair bit faster than normal then and probably wouldn't be too much slower than a regular SSD. That way you have the bigger storage space and also fairly good speeds for reading your game files from.
Up to you of course, your money and you should have it how you want
I will suggest though, that you might want to invest some of that money in a backup drive at the very least... if something goes wrong it'd take a long time to re-install and download everything for sure, no matter which way you decide to go with the config.

Just a couple of changes I personally would make, have upped it to a 2700 equivalent, no point in going for an x cpu if you're gonna OC anyway IMO.
    Swapped for 16GB RAM.
Got rid of the 2TB SSD and swapped in a SATA m.2 drive for OS. SATA should be sufficient in this use case IMO. swapped out the 6TB for a 4TB, to be used for game and media storage. If needed I would add a 1TB ssd for games that benefit from SSD over HDD, there aren't many that benefit more than a few seconds from my understanding... and then can swap between short term storage (SSD) and long term (HDD) for games that you are actually playing.

Especially for OS it makes no difference (trust me, I've got windows on my NVMe drive). It has better latency and bandwidth, but you'll only notice it when handling massive files.

should show you that your cpu is stil very decent. Unless your moving to 1440p monitor and thus a 1070ti/1080/etc..., then I would suggest staying with it for now. BUT this next CES might blow us all out of the water...soooooooo...fingers crossed

FeaR418 reacted to Sakkura in Lack of hyperthreading on new Intel Chips
Ryzen 7 chips are all 8 cores with SMT (like hyperthreading), like the Core i9-9900K.

Ryzen 5 are either 6 cores with SMT or 4 cores with SMT.

There are two generations of Ryzen chips, the new ones are numbered 2XXX and the old ones 1XXX (like the Ryzen 7 2700X and the predecessor Ryzen 7 1800X).

For streaming, a Ryzen 7 would make sense.

Typically 20-30% more performance when the program can use the extra threads. The 9900K costs a whole lot of money, not sure it's worth it.
