    Decided to go nuts - Lian-Li PC-O11DB

Im looking at getting a similar build soon. Didnt the h115I come with the RGB mag lev fans? Also, is there room for a third fan beside the 2 fan mount at the top? Thanks!! **EDIT** I guess its the platinum 115i that has the ML fans included

    AMD 3900x Build

Thoughts? I prefer to not change storage around too much, have usage for the m.2 and 3tb drives. Will run the 6 fans with the corsair commander pro as well. 1440p gaming, 144hz, however the 2080ti and 1440p monitor will be added sometime in the fall, and I will run with a 2060 that is on hand currently in the meantime. Will be running 3 monitors in total, 2 1080p 144hz, 1 1440p 144hz (when added in the fall). For case cooling I intend to have Rad top mounted as an exhaust, with the remaining 6 fans being intakes on the side and bottom. EDIT **All prices are in Canadian, also the estimated wattage according to pcpartpicker is 528w. Budget is not necessarily an issue, but nothing over the top of what I have now.** PCPartPicker Part List: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/NKgQTB CPU: AMD - Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor ($778.57 @ Canada Computers) CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i RGB PLATINUM 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($237.28 @ Corsair) Motherboard: Gigabyte - X570 AORUS MASTER ATX AM4 Motherboard ($531.08 @ Newegg Canada) Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($203.38 @ Amazon Canada) Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($203.38 @ Amazon Canada) Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo Plus 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($180.78 @ Amazon Canada) Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($359.29 @ Amazon Canada) Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($111.74 @ Newegg Canada) Video Card: MSI - GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card ($1907.64 @ Amazon Canada) Case: Lian-Li - PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case ($214.68 @ Newegg Canada) Power Supply: Corsair - 860 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($293.78 @ Corsair) Case Fan: Corsair - ML120 PRO RGB (3 pack w/Lighting Node PRO) 47.3 CFM 120 mm Fans ($155.17 @ Amazon Canada) Case Fan: Corsair - ML120 PRO RGB (3 pack w/Lighting Node PRO) 47.3 CFM 120 mm Fans ($155.17 @ Amazon Canada) Total: $5331.94 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-07-12 03:28 EDT-0400
  4. There’s a new 1440p 144hz monitor from lg coming out soon which is supposed to be the first ips 1ms display... nano ips tech or something, might want to look into that?
  5. Hey sorry if this is the wrong area, not sure where to post about it. I am look for a desk that can fit 3 monitors, 2 24inch monitors, and 1 27inch, as well as my computer, as I do not want it sitting on the floor. Currently I have no plans on using a monitor mount, however I would be open to the idea - provided the desk is good enough to not break like many ikea tables do if you try to mount your monitors on them. The case I have is the LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic, so it is quite large. I am worried about the max weight the desk can hold as well. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Case Question

I am looking for help finding a case for a build I am putting together. I would like to use the H150i cooler, on a top mount, and the MSI - GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB DUKE Video Card. Therefore I need a case that has good airflow using the top mount, and can fit the GPU. Any suggestions, I prefer a darker colour scheme and a side glass panel if possible. Thanks! EDIT **ATX form factor**

    Case Question

Canada! - The Corsair ones are on sale right now, but i most likely wont be purchasing this week.

    Case Question

Either or are fine, just keep the costs reasonable! Edit ** Those Corsair fans look cool, they're on the pricier side tho **

    Case Question

I believe that Gamersnexus said that the top wouldnt be a good place in that case, as there isnt enough opening on the top.

    Case Question

I was looking at that - if that were the route to go, I would need to get some case fans i believe. Any recommendations?

    Case Question

Doesnt the case top hurt top mounted rad performance? also i think it has compatability issues with the GPU.

    Whats a good IPS, 27 inch, 1440p 144hz Monitor?

There appears to be a lack of options for 144hz, 1440p, 27" displays available in Canada?
  15. Any recommendations on a good IPS 1440p 144hz Monitor at a decent price? I plan on running it with a 2080.
  16. So in anticipation for the Ryzen 3000 launch I am starting to peice together parts that I might be interested in. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on my list of parts that I have put together, to either increase performance, make it look nicer, or decrease price. I have a few questions regarding my parts. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Theonlyden/saved/HhVtgs I have put in a 2600x and a x470 mobo, to approximate pricing similar to what i would spend when the 3000 series release (subject to change as this is being used as an estimate). Use Case: Primarily gaming and I want to start to stream, I have included a 250g SSD NVMe (I think..?) for my OS, a 2tb for games library, and then a 6tb for mass video storage. Are there any improvement or price adjustments that can be made here that will wont effect my user experience in a negative way? Ram: 32GB, should I reduce this to 16? I tend to prefer to be ahead of the curve in RAM gb adoption as I pass my computer along to other family, also is the model of RAM i selected a good one? Case: H500P (would get the Gun Metal Version over the white however). I believe this has good top radiator support. One thing I am worried about regarding the case is drive bays, as I will most likely be moving a few SSDs from an older PC, however this is TBD. Any thoughts on this case overall for building in (i am an fairly inexperienced PC builder)? Note: I already Own the RTX 2060 and the CPU cooler listed in here as they are in my current build and will be transferred over. I intended to OC this new build. Please let me know what you think Overall should I make adjustments to the build? Thanks *Edit* Budget is flexible, but I am looking for around $1500 CAD if I can

    Starting to plan Ryzen3000 build.

Good idea w the 2700 and ram equivalent, il do that. For the storage I already have a full 3tb HDD (which i am passing along to a family member) so i need more than 4tb. I also play a large variety of games on the regular is why I had the standalone 2tb SSD for my use. Also im not a fan of swapping games between drives all the time (the cost of the 2tb SSD is worth it for me). Are there any models that could be cheaper maybe that have similar performance/size?

Isnt NVme worth it for OS, as it has better latency than Sata? the 2tb is SATA

    What GFX Card?

Should I pair a RTX2060 or GTX1660Ti with my i5 4670k @4.3ghz, 16g ram? Edit: Is the extra money worth the increase in performance?
