  1. Yes it will be legally binding. I too am waiting for more details regulations to be released by government of India. It its a process, and I'm sure it will take a couple years for all regulations to take complete effect.
  2. Well, currently this is being formulated a s a government policy, based on a Supreme Court Case (Shri Shamsher Kataria versus Honda Siel Cars Limited & Ors.) Which said: Src: https://theleaflet.in/ip-vs-the-right-to-repair-deciphering-the-legal-conundrum/ One should also remember that as India is a developing country, there are millions of roadside repair technicians & mechanics whose livelihoods depend on small repairs. I'm quite sure the government is trying to appease this voter base, but in the process, consumers will win. "Perfect is the enemy of good." I'm not saying it is the perfect method of achieving right to repair, but it's a good beginning. And this centralised portal with manuals from major corporations will also help those out of India.
  3. Summary Indian minister of Consumer Affairs (Govt. Of India), Mr. Piyush Goyal, launched the Right to Repair Consumer portal. All companies selling goods in India will have to upload details like service manuals, links to space parts, etc. On this portal. The link is: https://www.righttorepairindia.in/ Quotes My thoughts This portal will also serve as a mechanism to register complaints against device manufacturers. It will also be a great tool for those living outside India, helping them access service manuals, guides, etc. It has just launched, so compliance might take a while. But I am glad to see more countries taking the direction of right to repair. 4. I think that Channel Super Fun is just a Human Resources exercise done by LMG employees, specifically in team building and improving communication skills. Proof: Human Resources Management Student here.
  5. Well, people who got the interest in such stuff got no money to invest in it. People who got the money to invest got no interest in the minor and internal details. All investors care about is the profit. You don't need to know how the food is made to invest in a restaurant as far as you know that you will get your money.
  6. Yes. And that is what bothers me. They are spreading misinformation, which can have various affects such as increasing share prices, etc. And when investors realize this news has no true basis, it can lead to a crash. Anyways, misinformation is misinformation, let it be Ars Technica or CNBC.
  7. Exact words from CNBC website. I mean they are technically not wrong because GPU architecture is definitely different from CPU architecture, which is affected by this flaw, but CNBC seriously needs to hire a new analyst. 8. Food. Like seriously, just buy food. You can never have enough food.
  9. What if Og NCIX Camera Man is NONE OTHER THAN Unbox Therapy Jack? ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED
  10. Hey guys. I remember there was this one video which Brandon was hosting and in the start Linus interrupts him and says "No more of this camera mumbo jumbo. You must speak plain english" Does anyone remember which one was it? Can anyone provide it's youtube link?
  11. I am looking for a convertible laptop for use in college. My requirements are as follows: It needs pen/stylus capability (i like to take handwritten notes.) I will primarily use it for office apps, but will do light-medium photo editing (in Adobe Lightroom and photoshop) I may play a few light games (LoL, Dota 2, Solitaire, etc) It must have an SSD (I just cant deal with slow hard drives. And I have penty of exernal HDDs for mass storage) My budget is $800 but I may be able to extend it to $900. This includes the cost of Stylus and keyboard (for those tablets whose keyboards are sold separately). My first option is the new HP Envy x360 with the Ryzen 5 2500U processer. http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-envy-x360-convertible-laptop-15z-touch-1za07av-1 The 250 gb SSD option is $860 and the stylus (though not available online, but when contacting HP) is $50 What are your sugesstions?
