  1. Hey guys so recently I started working from home and I recently made a big purchase of a new printer (HP Color LaserJet Pro 7301fdw) and i was reading online old articles from 2012 suggesting that you shouldn't really plug in a laserjet into a Surge Protector or a UPS, one due to the high power draw from the fuser roller inside the laserjet technically speaking a lot has change since that post was made over a decade ago, and im curious, I recently signed up for Zap Cap for the house I live at from our power company Teco *Tampa Electric, and they provided me with a system for the meter outside and a Panamax M8-AV Power Conditioner, https://panamax.com/product/max-8-av-8-ac-coax-and-tel-avm-line-filtration/ rated for 1650 Joules, and the UPS in question I may or may not get will be a https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-CP1500PFCLCD-Sinewave-Outlets-Mini-Tower/dp/B00429N19W 1500VA/1000w so im pretty sure this will be more than enough for my investment if it's suitable for the peak power draw required by the laserjet. so based on the specs of the lasejet it uses 585 watts (Active Printing), 18 watts (Ready), 0.8 watts (Sleep), 0.8 watts (HP auto-off/auto-on), 0.07 watts (auto-off/manual on), 0.07 watts (Off); Typical electricity consumption (TEC) number: 1.423 kWh/Week (Blue Angel); 0.422 kWh/Week (Energy Star 3.0) what are your guys thoughts? get surge protector or UPS?
  2. So I should be fine? I’m running memtest64 and no errors 1hr pass so far
  3. Did that already? And DOCP is enabled, for 3200 in windows it shows 3200 but in bios the new kit is 2133 the kit I got 6 months ago is 2666?
  4. So i just got a new kit (same kit i bought 6 months ago) and New kit (2133) I got today, 6 months ago, ram running at 2666? so who is lying? It's the same kit F4-3200C16D-32GTZN https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232853?Item=N82E16820232853 any issues? running different speeds the base frequency is different 2133 and 2666 for the sticks
  5. don't think I have that header, I only have USB,
  6. also, on the product page, it doesn't say it Only works with MSI, so that's why I bought it, cuz I thought hey, looks good. I installed it and nothing, cant even customize the display or update fan speed... stupid, only works on there own motherboards
  7. I cant select anything as you can see, I legit have to buy a new motherboard to use it from what I heard from MSI Support.
  8. I updated the bios and verified it works, if I unplug it, it just says, please connect sata power/USB which sata power there is, and usb when I reconnect it
  9. No, if I unplug the USB thingy to the cooler to the USB header on the motherboard it doesn't pick up in MSI CoreLiquid software
  10. So I just got my AIO from newegg and the LCD screen is not registering with windows? might need to do a fresh install maybe? using a existing window install from my old motherboard MSI App for this AIO isn't picking it up? any suggestions? (im using it on a Asus TUF X570 wifi motherboard with a ryzen 9 3900x
  11. alright, ill take the advice, greatly appreciated, these drives are laying around thought I'll repurpose them XD, yeah the battery I got too
  12. MP3 isn't a main problem it's, WAV, ACID-WAV, AIFF Etc that I use in Ableton 11 and FL Studio. I wanna maximize storage and have redundancy incase my drives decides it time to die. other formats such as PSD, etc yeah that gets bigger lmao, that's why im looking at different compression algorithms
  13. I have a 1 core CPU (AMD A4-7300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics) XD, I got more drives if they are required for RAID 6, Im planning on using TrueNas
