  1. Silver Stone DA650 | Teardown | inspection | Cleaning |Fully Modular PSU So still using the same PC for years. A big MOD is coming i will be water cooling the system and ocing the GPU. So needed a bit more power to be on the safe side. Its a 650W PSU with single rail. Like every used part i buy. I first test it then tear it down for cleaning n fun n inspection. It had a little dent and the modular PCB was also bent that i tried fixing. This was one satisfying teardown SPECIAL FEATURES Class-leading single +12V rail with 54A @ 50℃ 100% modular cables Single PCI-E 8pin connectors & dual PCI-E 6pin connectors Quiet running 120mm fan Supports for ATX 12V 2.2 & EPS 12V Active PFC Efficiency greater than 80% Japanese primary capacitor <Removed by staff>
  2. After a very long time P3 is UP finally
  3. CNC Project: RC Scania SO finally the CNC is in the shape to make something Love Trucks , owning a RC scaled one has always been a dream. This is the first ever 3D model i made. New to fusion 360 as well. So took a lot of time and i learnt a lot. Being a little weak on the arts side modeling is difficult for me. The model made is while keeping in mind that i have to machine it as well. So the little details even which could have been easily included were ignored. The very prominent is, this cabin is fixed with the front and bumpers etc ... Biggest issue in copying was that i had no blue-print and of course, Amateur skills Next will be readying the cabin/ sanding painting and after that will start working on the electronics and mechanics. Finishing and stuff like that will be done in the end. P1 P2
  4. Believe me it was just like red grapes juice.
  5. Lol my modded XPS has 92mm exhaust at back. Thats why it was a perfect fit for me
  6. It is basically an AIO with RAD for 92mm fans. Manufactured for HP by asetek. So a friend of mine had this cooler it was leaking. I was pretty sure i will be able to repair it so took it from him. If i was unable to repair it I could still use the tiny RAD or the copper plates so it was a win win. Most of the coolant leaked and the remaining i drank tasted like grapes juice. The PCB was in bad shape as the leaked coolant corroded it. Lucky me the windings were okay. So cleaned it good added the RGB bling and voila !!! There is rattling sound that i cant get rid of. I have to lower the pump rpm to 30%. The results are satisfying for the RAD size and if i was running my CPU at stock voltages and clock it would have been more than perfect. I loved the fine fins and loved how clean it was from inside considering this thing is pretty old. It was a tiny project i enjoyed working on. Future: Maybe transparent tubings. Rest seems perfect. Thanks for being here i hope u enjoyed and dont forget to leave a like and to subscribe for more such stuff
  7. So i recently purchased a Strix RX 480 OC (Used) (First time ever bought such expensive card) The card was overheating (It was told by the seller) So i got it in pretty fair price. First day i tested it for any other issue then heating. Next Day i did this DO AT YOUR OWN RISK As i dont mind loud Fans i thought why not MOD it to RX 580. So got the original Strix RX 580 OC BIOS from ASUS site, downloaded AMD/ATI ATIFlash tool. Followed these step (How To: Flash Your RX 480 to an RX 580 In Easy Steps!By Brendan van Varik ) Download ATIFlash and extract it; Create a folder on your C:/ drive and call it ‘ati’ and copy the ATIFlash files into the folder; Open ATIFlash (from C:/) and save your BIOS with the appropriate button, call it stock or something you can recognise; Download the RX 580 BIOS for your card and place it in the ‘ati’ folder and name it appropriately; Click on the Start button, and type in ‘cmd’, right click and run with admin rights; If you have more than one card, replace the ‘0’ with ‘1’ for the second GPU, ‘2’ for the third etc. – note that the primary GPU is 0 and not 1; cd c:/ati atiwinflash -f -p 0 580.rom Wait and restart PC when asked I Recommend DDU Clean and new drivers ( 18.9.1 are my fav) IS IT WORTH IT ? You can overclock your RX480 even higher and get more benchmark score But it was satisfying to me so i did it Some things to consider ! (Strix RX 480 is the best candidate due to OVERKILL VRMs) Will It will fry your GPU : Strix RX 480 has the best PCB and Strix RX 580 has the same PCB as that of RX 480 so u cant fry it. VRMs are overkill so u will not be overloading anything at all Temps : Will be higher for sure as RX 580 requires more voltage and the fact that Strix RX 480 Cooler suck due to the issue mentioned in my video ( Useless Heat-pipes ) Brick : You can brick your card but its repairable, all u need is another working i-GPU or another GPU and board with more PCIE slots. PSU : 500W minimum with 80 Plus. You are changing the GPU Watts usage from almost 130 Watts to 160 Watts (Gaming) Furmark : No it still doesnt fry GPU after BIOS Flash
  8. eraser ( the one use to erase pencil, works best )
  9. Tried original Bios of Non OC Strix 580 still i get the same strange mv here I was getting now crash too only in one area of gta V. In that area now i came to know that my CPU usage goes up like spikes upto 75-80% (i7-2600 @4Ghz) . Means it kinda struggles. SO what that does is being a lil bottle-neck brings my GPU to either state 5 or either it switches between the last three states and voltage wasnt enough i guess. So i set the voltage of 5,6 and 7 to 1183,1184 and 1185. Now the GPU is stable i think (Tested for half an hour) with loads of blowing up vehicle and what not. And as i have reduced the max voltage from 1193 to 1185 the temps drop by 3-5 Degrees core and VRM too. Though m not sure the issue i mentioned in first post is a glitch in my card or bios or drivers !
  10. I recently bought Strix RX480 OC 8GB I tried different drivers but the issue is that my power State 6 has more volts than 7. The Bios was stock but the issue was with all the amd adrenalin i tried. (Crimson drivers were used but at that time i didnt have wattman thats y dont know if the issue was there!) I thought might be the issue with BIOS so moved on to strix RX580 Bios (Nothing changed just installed that stock one) Now still the same issue is here. Temps never reach 70s as i keep the curve hardcore. The card is stable if not overclocked with 480 or 580 bios. This is my first AMD card to with wattman. Totally Noob atm. Current drivers 18.9.1 Tried 18.5.1 18.9.3
  11. I used black cardboard with hot glue gun recently. I used super glue and a paper glue stick, but hot glue gun gave best reliable results Watch first 30 sec for the result
  12. The second last part is here Enjoy guys
