  1. Planned on building a desk pc but i did not like the idea of having 2 separate systems. The laptop should have no dedicated GPU. I will connect it to a Razer Core and use it for GPU Intensive works. I just want a laptop which has a good screen with no thick bezels and lots of CPU Horsepower. unless Razer is going to release Core v3 with external GPU AND CPU. The laptop should not be too bulky either. IO doesn't matter. The core has plenty of USB Type A ports and ethernet. Again the laptop should have the best CPU without thermal throttling. The 9th gen laptops are not out yet
  2. So I'll be building a new pc (DESK PC) next year. I want it to be the most future-proof( now please dont exit after reading future proof. here me out) pc. RAM: MOBO with 4 slots out of which i'll use 2 and add more when i need it. DDR5 will take 6 years to become a thing. GPU: will go with anything which is capable of driving a 2560x1080 monitor and play games at high settings. a simple swap is enough for upgraing my gpu SSD: will go with M.2 and SATA 3. Most motherboards these days have a 2 or 3 m.2 slots and 4-8 SATA 3 slots so i can easily add more drives when I need it PSU Cooling Fans etc.: obvious. nothing to worry My choice of CPU AND Motherboard I'll be going with intel only. the motherboard should be supported by intel for a very long time. but at the same time i dont want xeon. as time passes i want to upgrade my cpu at least twice without changing my motherboard. So which motherboard should i buy? which generation should i wait for?
  3. Improvise on this.. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nCwfD2 CPU is more than enough I think. Go with any other powerful CPU and cooling becomes an issue. Ram is okay. Maybe consider overclocking. Use your SSD if you wanna save some money.. Choose any PSU or try using the one you have one. GPU is best for 4k medium to high on most games. I'm guessing you won't be playing FPS games with a 65"tv (it's not the best experience trust me..)
  4. Thanks. Any AMD options?
  5. Thanks. Should I be worried about my ram choice?
  6. Need help choosing a GPU. Part list. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ashwin_ram/saved/gBJgwP Medium to high settings. Games like Forza horizon , siege and other fps games. Monitor is a LG ultrawide 29 inch. Resolution is 2550*1080. GPU budget less than 250$ Thanks..
  7. I’ll install windows. Is there any setting I can tweak or install any application that will output to HDMI always. I want to see the bios settings through an external monitor.
  8. and another thing, the laptop won't output to monitor even when I'm at the windows setup. confused...
  9. if i remove the cable, will it output to hdmi?
