  1. Not currently no. But it did appear a couple of time a few minutes ago. Edit: I appeared right now. Pls see the picture below, sorry for low quality.
  2. Hello all, So I have the HP Pavilion 15 Laptop bought back in 2019. Specs: i5 8th Gen, 12GB RAM(weird but ok), 1TB 5400rpm (trash) HDD. So I added a 500GB NVMe SSD back in the beginning of 2020(the good ol' days ). Now, from the past few weeks there was a lot of random crashing with the error "No boot device found". "Hard disk error (3F0)". It would eventually boot after a few hard shutdowns. But after running the in-built diagnostic tools, I got the following message, " Hard disk/SSD Long/Short DST: Warning". That's it no other message/explanation. So I tried a lot of troubleshooting steps off the internet with no resolution. I decided to take things in my hands. It went kinda wrong but not wrong ?!!?! Let's begin with the real problem. So I decided to format my C: drive without really thinking it through. I used a third-party program (mini-tool) to format the C: drive. Well, it did format it, but I guess the wrong partition. I managed to install Windows on my crappy HDD for now. But now the SSD is messed up, it sometimes doesn't show up in windows or any third-party program. When it does show up, it cannot be formatted normally. And when using a third-party program, it shows 0 KB storage. Do I have any hope of recovering the SSD for further use ? Thank you for reading this long issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  3. I found the solution on chrome help page, may work may not. But "Sign in to windows with your microsoft account" seems to have fixed it for me. You can find that in your windows settings under sign-in options.
  4. @SpookyCitrus ok...nevermind the few days, I tried what you sent and it still turns sync off after every restart/boot. Any other ideas ? any idea about this ?
  5. I will try that..and let you know again in few days. Thank you.
  6. alright sorry, but I really am looking for an answer and the previous post got buried
  7. So now coming near to a month, my chrome sync is broken. Let me explain, a few weeks ago I noticed chrome sync was paused, I thought something I did might have caused it, but then it kept happening, so being frustrated I switched to Firefox as my default browser (default browser as in the actual setting in windows). This happened every time my computer restarted or after a fresh start everyday. P.S. this was in chrome v83. Now there is nothing wrong(so far) with Firefox and I am actually enjoying it, but I do want to know if chrome can be fixed. Two weeks ago I noticed chrome had been updated to v84 so I tried it again and chrome sync was working so I made chrome my default browser(in windows settings) again. The next time I restarted, boom it was doing the same thing. After a few times of switching the default browser, I realized that when I have chrome set as a default browser sync stopped every time the PC essentially restarted. Since then I have tried multiple solutions from googling around to no avail. I even tried reinstalling chrome, that didn't help either. Has anyone else encountered this issue ? Also I tried the new Edge based on chromium and boy is that nice. But there google services just automatically logged out every time the PC had a fresh start. All the other website stayed logged in. Any idea about this ?

  9. After a lot of googling I found out a cheap but nice M.2, the Crucial P1 M.2 SD, it is compatible with my laptop. Fingers crossed the internet is right. Thanks for that info though.??
  10. I can do that on my own. But i do not want to void the warranty. By the size, I meant is there a specific type for laptops ?
  11. As far as I know, and I am sure that the m.2 slot is empty. As for the size I don't know actually. Can I find it on the HP website ?
  12. So, I have a HP Pavilion 15 cs0053cl with the following important specs: i5, 12GB RAM, 1TB 5400rpm HDD. Now if I am not wrong then the worst part of this laptop is the HDD. I want to upgrade to a SSD, but I am stuck on whether I should just swap the HDD for the SSD or have a extra SSD(the laptop has an option for M.2). Also I need this info ASAP. Any help/suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
  13. i want to work on a chat system in a an android app and i wanted to know how whatsapp and related apps work... Does whatsapp create a new activity for every new chat conversation or does it use anything else ? Please do let me know. Thanks in advance.
  14. So, I bought a brand new laptop (HP Pavilion 15-c0053cl) SPECS: i5 8th Gen/12GB RAM/1TB HDD/Win 10 This is pretty good. But for some reason the startup is a nightmare it lags soooooo much. The apps work fine afterwards. I have tried disabling as many startup apps I can leaving only the necessary once Enabled. The startup utilization is also not high(RAM 15 to 20%). Does anyone know anything about this ? Help.
