  1. Might be an unhelpful suggestion but i am sure ur local laptop repair shop would do it for pretty cheap.
  2. Just realized my bios didn't update when I used the qflash. Just updated the bios going to try again.
  3. I just finished building a new system, boots into bios and all components are showing up. But when I try to boot from a USB it gets stuck at the motherboard logo. My spec Amd ryzen 5 5600x Crucial ballistic 8 gb ram x 2 sticks Gigabyte aurous b550 itx motherboard Corsair 600 watt sfx PSU Gigabyte 3060 Samsung 970 500gb nvme ssd. Things I tried Verified I can boot into windows in my old PC from the USB stick I'm using for installing the same. Checked the cables are properly plugged Please help
  4. Country: United kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: sins of a solar empire Civ 6 , assassins creed. factorio, rimworld.. strategy as u can see Other details : I just got lucky and managed to grab a rtx 3060 from new egg. It came bundled with a 750 watt gigabyte psu. Set me back a cool 645 pounds. I dunno when it is going to delivered. I already have a cheap 2k monitor from viewsonic that cost me a 180 pounds - 32 inch So i mainly play strategy games. and desired resolution in 2k I already have the accessories.( a drevo calibur v2 pro and a cheap wireless mouse that does the job) Since I move around a lot i am looking for itx cases that can support an atx psu. I prefer to go amd and have been considering the 3600 and the 5600x. I am not looking for anything fancy like rgb. Things i need 1) Mini Itx case ( with atx psu support)- i considered the h210 ? 2) 2 sticks of ram (8 gb * 2 ) probably 3600 probably the corsair lpx 3) itx motherboard with wifi X570 - i heard the gigabyte x570 ones are good 4) M.2 SSD around 500 gb wd black or the samngs evos 5) 2 hard drives wd black 1 tb 6) CPU 3600 vs 5600x I also am not sure whether i need the x570 . I haven't specified the budget because i want to balance price to performance. If the system doesn't light up in anyway I am good. FYI : my current rig is a second hand laptop with a dead screen with an 8th gen 8250u and mx150 graphics that's hooked up to the viewsonic monitor i mentioned above so i am guessing this is going to be a huge upgrade.
  5. I have this old xp laptop in which I have installed a program call up to date in 2008. Now since it's drive is failing I need to reinstall it in my new laptop. Any way I can do this. I lost the original install disk as it was 10 years ago.
  6. Yup. Even the Amazon prices are way off compared to the offline prices. I swear I saw a listing for a ryzen 1200 for around 200$. Granted it's the exception but overpricing pc components on these websites is actually quite rampant.
  7. pc partpicker prices are not even close to actual price here
  8. More like a Google spread sheet with components and price. This is the one I prep for a build I'm planning with various options. I'm based in Chennai so offline prices will be based on Chennai stores.
  9. Hello are there any Indian ltt viewers out there? I recently started compiling a price list of sorts for different computer components from different sources. Any one interested in expanding the list? Or contributing to it?
  10. Day 2 I noticed a definite increase in unskippable ads while using the YouTube app on Android. Watched a total of 6 to 10 videos almost 5 had ads and only one had a skippable ad. Haven't checked it on the PC side yet.
  11. While on this topic, if I skip or don't skip an ad does it affect the creators cut?
