Not worth the purchase, if you want the same experience with the kabylake just get skylake.

Yea intel made a bad move doing that. This will lose some of there amount of stock they sell this year on kabylake. Amd is looking like they might take a stand.

Since when did i recommend the 6700k? Oh yea that's right I didn't. We are talking about a 1 to 3% performance boost, Oh, and lets not forget 4K NETFLIX ONLY WITH KABYLAKE!!

Did you order anything else? One time I ordered a CPU from them and chose 1 day shipping. Then in a separate order a few minutes later got some RAM and chose free shipping, since I didn't need it right away. Low and behold they packed the two together and I got them in 10 days because free shipping on small items like RAM means shitty FedEx SmartPost, where your package is the the lowest of low priority and is dropped off at the post office at the last step. My cpu I spent money on for one day shipping sat in a warehouse on a weather delay for two days because it was fucking drizzling in Memphis.

I've had a similar problem a fair few times, especially when using USB sticks to make Linux USB sticks and then trying to convert them back to normal use. I personally find the disk management tool and absolute pain in the arse and doesn't allow you to do what you need to most of the time... anyway I digress.

I am assuming you are using Windows 10 and are quite happy to loose all the data on the USB drive, and this is the method I use:
Hit Windows Key + R (i.e. run open up the run prompt) Enter 'diskpart' hit enter and allow to load When you get the 'DISKPART>' prompt enter 'list disk' Locate the relevant disk and take note of the number - make sure it is the drive you want as you can destroy your HDD! Enter 'select disk #' where # is the number of the disk you want. In my example below I am using Disk 2 a 64GB USB stick You should get a prompt like 'Disk 2 is now the selected disk.' Enter 'clean' You should get a prompt like 'DiskPart succeeded in cleaning the disk.' Enter 'create partition primary' You should get a prompt like 'DiskPart succeeded in creating the specified parition' Close the DiskPart window Open your computer, locate the USB stick and then format as per usual.

Just be very careful that you choose the correct disk number otherwise you are in for a world of trouble. If there is data on the USB stick, just back it up before wiping (or cleaning) the drive.

    Hope this resolves you issues.

You're scraping the bare minimum of what I'd consider necessary but it will work if you remember to install all of your large programs and games on a separate HDD.

I think so.  I did the exact same thing with a raid0 using 2 60Gb ssds a while back.  I've since upgraded to a larger array but it worked for windows 7, 8 and 10.

Your cpu is a bottleneck. This will not allow you to use your gpu to its fullest potential.

Thanks for the reply guys. I just thought if the gpu use 90% i can get better framerate. I  still try to understand all of this. Thank you so much. May god bless u all

    120GB for OS is enough

but lately Windows 10 eats up space with all those updates

so i say it enough for now but strongly suggest looking at 240-250GB sizes

    You'll be glad you did.

This can happen but a regular cleanup of some unused files will help greatly.  Just remember that with such a small storage space maintenance will be largely up to you.

Remember to tell your internet browsers to download your data to the HDD and not to the SSD which they may try to do by default.

Hi there, I'm doing some researching over the i5 6600k and i7 6700k, I'm looking to upgrade my computer with a skylake CPU and I'm aiming 1440p for resolution in most of my games, now I'm stuck between these two processors and I was wondering if the i5 6600k and a gtx 1070 would be just enough for gaming at 1440p ? Thanks.

Yes it is more than enough. If you want just a little bit more performance than you could think about getting the i7 6700k. But you should be fine with the i5 6600k and a gtx 1070.

If you are mainly gaming then go for the i5 6600K and you would need a new motherboard (any Z170).

no the motherboard will not be compatable you need a 1151 socket motherboard, i would reccomend what linustechtipsfanfromdarlo sayed about the z170 and 6600k, also you could wait for zen/ryzen/whatevertheycallit if you have the patience
