Joseph Hartness reacted to Timbs in Anyone want some free keys that I don't want?
Looks like Linus if he was a skinhead on heroin.

Joseph Hartness reacted to Jredmond in GPU MAXED OUT AT 99% UNDER LIGHT LOAD
Its all good, (Just want to let you know, that having a GPU at 100 percent is good. Having anything else like the CPU or Ram at 100 percent is bad) If a game is well optimized it will take advantage of the entire GPU.

Joseph Hartness reacted to Jredmond in GPU MAXED OUT AT 99% UNDER LIGHT LOAD
It doesn't matter.... Its a demanding open world game. It should be using 100 percent of your GPU.... The only time a game should not be using 100 percent of a GPU is when there is a CPU bottleneck (Im talking about modern games not Minesweeper)

Joseph Hartness reacted to SilverMight in GPU MAXED OUT AT 99% UNDER LIGHT LOAD
... But what's the issue? It's utilizing all of your resources properly.

Joseph Hartness reacted to bellabichon in GPU MAXED OUT AT 99% UNDER LIGHT LOAD
The card might be over-provisioning VRAM to try and get as many FPS as possible

Joseph Hartness reacted to Jredmond in GPU MAXED OUT AT 99% UNDER LIGHT LOAD
There isnt an issue he just doesn't understand how a computer works Lol

What you don't want is 100% CPU usage, as that can create stuttering as it will fail to generate sufficient drawcalls, or inconsistently.
100% GPU load or maxed out VRAM is no issue.
Honestly, why even bother with checking these stats if you don't really know what they all mean or how they should behave. Just play some games, should trouble arise post the data here and people will judge them for you.

pretty sure watch dogs is very badly optimized, that may be the cause

Joseph Hartness got a reaction from ABehery in 1070? Maybe 1060?
Get the gtx 1070. Most notably the evga one. It helps in video editing and graphic design, which is what I do also.

Joseph Hartness reacted to Nena Trinity in What was your first cpu?
Laptop was TK-55 and the GPU was a GT 7200M I think...
Desktop FX-8370 & GTX 970!
First ever was the family PC which I think had a Pentium II or 4? O3O

AMD Athlon
No not the Athlon XP or 64
The first one
The one that used slot A and looked like this:
In fact this was the same motherboard we had too. Can't for the life of my remember what GPU was in there. All I know is it was top of the line for 1999

They need to change their bit rate. Or they can go to the troubleshoot in update and security. Also make sure that their gain on the mic is turned down.

Mine was a Pentium 4 HT @ 3Ghz and a Geforce 6600GT

First would be 6700hq + 960m I guess, the REALLY first was a 6700k + gtx 1060 though.

Wow, this is back in the early 90's. I loved the vintage tan color everything had. My nostalgia is commended.

Joseph Hartness reacted to Ryujin2003 in What was your first cpu?
My first system was a Tandy and whatever GPU and CPU that thing had from the factory. Fast forward a few years ( like 15), my first CPU of my first PC build was an AMD Phenom x6 1055t, with inboard graphics, then upgraded to R9 380 after a few years.
Since I was stuck on integrated for such a long time...

Did you like pinball like I did?

Joseph Hartness reacted to dcgreen2k in What was your first cpu?
Oh yeah. Before I upgraded my graphics card, I saw my 7300 LE idle at 65C, and shoot up to 80C before throttling soon after. Once I gained more knowledge of computers, I took the heatsink off; The thermal paste was completely dried up, and there was a physical, very obvious gap where the gpu wasn't even in contact with the heat sink!

Joseph Hartness reacted to W00SH in What was your first cpu?
Intel 486DX2 was my first. I played a lot of chips challenge, and that was about it. Lol.

Well, if you count something like 640x480 and lowest settings playable, sure!

65C02 CPU rocking out at 1.023MHz with a wild 128KB of RAM. Man, they don't build 'em like they used to.

Joseph Hartness reacted to Kinda Bottlenecked in What was your first cpu?
I guess that would be an AMD K6

Joseph Hartness reacted to MattyHeal in $700 Build
oh most certainly, I would still of thought you'd be better with the 6500 and the RX 480 rather than 6600k and the RX 470, whilst differences are very minimal still better off to have a slightly better graphics than CPU
