  1. Wow, this is back in the early 90's. I loved the vintage tan color everything had. My nostalgia is commended.
  2. My dell optiplex has a phenom x2 in it with the 7300 LE. I couldn't even open up a web browser without it getting overheated.
  3. Well a computer is a computer. So any computer you remember having.
  4. Oh my gosh, the 7300 LE can run minecraft? That card could barely run Doom. Are you sure you are correct.
  5. Both I just used the gpu to give an example of my nostalgia as a kid.
  6. That is great. Maybe she can get into some light pc gaming. It is a pretty good cpu especially for some games today, and is also good for normal everyday web browsing.
  7. What was a good memory you had as a kid/Adult playing games with your cpu? What Graphics card was it paired with? Bring the Nostalgia
  8. What are the specs? I love the aesthetic red to the build
  9. Good Job I would recommend sticking to questions, but I am happy to see a pc gamer with tinkering capabilities. You should use the q6600 for a media pc or lend it to someone in need to join the tech world of computers. Then again, you can always sell it.
  10. I have been editing my video only realizing that the video is 48kHz. When I convert it through camtasia (I only use this software to convert audio) it comes out 44kHz which lags behind the normal video. My question is, is there any software that can convert an mp4 file into a mp3 48kHz audio file?
  11. I find it funny that both the rx 480 and rx 470 are not that far apart either.
  12. That is true. These 2 processors are not too far apart either. But with an overclockable 6600k it would show some more performance with cpu intensive games then that of a non overclockable 6500.
  13. In some games yes. In other games it will show great impact on cpu performance rather than putting the load onto the graphics card. Depends on what games he plays. @deXxterlab97
  14. Did not say all. I was talking in general. I talk from experience rather than trust in others anyways.
  15. I started with a rx 460 and built my way up. The power supply is awesome and evga has good quality psu's, even there low end ones. I can't afford a psu at the moment, spent all my money on a graphics card.
  16. Used this psu for a while, it is reliable. Been through many upgrades with it.
  17. I actually own this psu in my build. Works just fine, and is reliable. Will upgrade to newer one when I see something wrong with the psu. I don't really care for efficiency to be completely honest with you.
  18. Just click my pc part picker link. Change the powersupply, and add a hard drive, then add another 8gb ram module. You can also get the 7600k/6600k if you want to change that also. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fYrLf8
  19. I think GTA V does better with a budget 2500k and a 1060/480. That is still a good budget processor that can still handle most games. The processor can be pegged above 100% usage in most games, but for the most part it is a good performance/price build.
  20. The joke is there are games that don't work on new processors. I retract my statement now as I essentially thought the i3 6100 was a dual core with no hyper-threading. After going through the comments I now see what I got wrong, also did some research on this processor. I have never owned a dual core, but this one has got my attention now. Part of my research:
  21. I hope you read my response again, as i do mean figuratively.  The kid could have gotten a better deal to be honest.

  22. Yes it is a good deal. But if you would have saved up just a little bit more then you could have gotten I better cpu. I know for a fact that ebay has great deals.
  23. no i didn't. My gosh. They will work just not as well if it had 4 physical cores.
