  1. Well, I did find an RGB keyboard PCB called GK64 (https://goo.gl/vLP7gg), did some research on it and it seems good enough... I can also get it with an aluminum plate, so that's not really a problem... I just don't really know about the keycaps... What should I be looking at when I'm buying them? I know that keycap sizes are measured in units, but I really can't find any info about the supported length of keycaps for the PCB...
  2. Guessing that I can't program/change key positions? Also, I have seen that you basically have the hot-swappable leds and everything installed... Is there a way to somehow have RGB leds installed? Or how do I know if I can make the glowing backplate thingy with a PCB? You know... when the case is clear and the light shines through?Example: https://goo.gl/wpaMMV Also, thank you for your reply... Your buildlog helped me quite a bit
  3. So I was thinking about building myself a relatively cheap mechanical keyboard with Kailh pro purple switches, but the thing is, that I don't know anything about building a keyboard... I have been looking at some really cheap kits on aliexpress (goo.gl/PcrGrP) but don't really know what all do I even need. I know that I need a PCB, case, switches, stabilizers, and keycaps... I was thinking that I wanted to have a translucent case and some rgb led diodes on the back (would be nice if I could somehow change colors of them). I really have no idea for what to look for on a PCB and am asking if someone could explain some stuff about the PCB to me (may send a link to a good article or something). Also if anyone knows of any cheap kits/parts or whatever I would really appreciate it if they could share the link. The less expensive, the better. Ty
  4. If only that was possible. Almost no store in my country sells chairs from Herman Miller or any similar brand and because of that, almost nobody owns a used one. I just checked and sadly nobody is selling a used one in my whole country at the moment. I'll check eBay later... Anyways thanks for your replies!
  5. That's what I was planning, but sadly there are not that many stores which would sell office chairs around my area, and those who do sell them usually have really cheap chairs. I'll try to go to a store where they sell some higher quality chairs when I'll have time since stores like that are quite far away from my home and I don't have that much time at the moment. Also thanks for your suggestion.
  6. So I have been planning to buy a new office/gaming chair for quite some time, but I just can't decide which one I should buy. I was originally planning to go with a DXRacer Drifting chair (since it would fit my height and weight, 5ft 10 and 145lbs), but since some people were complaining about ergonomics of these so called "racing" chairs I became a bit concerned since they aren't that cheap. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me pick the right chair for my needs. I usually spend 4-9 hours per day sitting behind my computer, usually playing games, 3D modeling, editing some stuff etc... My max budget is 350€ and I'm looking for a good quality chair, that is as ergonomic as possible. I was originally planning to buy the DXRacer chair because of how comfortable it looks, because of the "quality" materials that are used in the manufacturing process and because of the features like the ability to tilt so far back the back area. After searching around the web for a bit, I have found this chair: ANCHEER Ergonomic Office Chair (https://www.amazon.com/ANCHEER-Ergonomic-Adjustable-Headrest-Certified/dp/B017SJBW0C) The thing is that this chair does not seem to be as versatile as the chair from DXRacer. The thing that I have also noticed is, that these ergonomic chairs look much less appealing than the racing style ones, which I guess is just a tradeoff that I would have to accept. In short, I'm looking for a nice looking ergonomic chair that is made out of decent materials and that is under 350€. All help would be appreciated!
  7. In the end i had to delete and reinstall the drivers (even though i updated them, when i got my new monitor).
  8. I updated graphics drivers to the newest version (ReLive)
  9. So today i got my new Dell U2515h monitor. Now i have two monitors (my old LG IPS 231p and Dell) both plugged into my AMD R9 380 4GB graphics card. Everything works fine, except when i want to play online games like Paladins, CS:GO etc... The problem is, that the game lags (rubberbanding). I want to play a game on one monitor, and browse the web on the second one. I tried switching them and nothing happened. The game only worked without a problem if i plugged out my second monitor. (single player games work without a problem as far as i know)
  10. So in the end i chose the IPS monitor Dell U2515H monitor as suggested by Light-Yagami, because it's a really good bang for the buck. The monitor has 2560 x 1440 resolution and really vibrant colors. I'm also going to buy a dual monitor stand, so i will be able to mount both monitors on it(my current one - LG IPS 231p and the Dell U2515H).
  11. U2515H seems to be really good in terms of picture quality, but i'm a bit concerned about the response time and refresh rate. I'll be sure to research the monitor a bit further. Thanks!
  12. I was thinking about VA for quite some time, but have not found a lot of displays with it for the price and the same goes for PLS (found even less results)
  13. Well i did say that i would like more than 60Hz if possible and yes i know, 60Hz isn't really a 'gaming' monitor and for the money that i am willing to spend there is no monitor that has a lot more Hz and is IPS or VA. What i meant to say is, that i want a good display, that has good color reproduction and that it does not suck while playing games. I already have a 60Hz IPS monitor for quite some time now and i was thinking to add an extra monitor to my setup. While the monitor that i am using right now isn't bad, I still want to see if there is anything better.
  14. The monitor has 5ms (Gray-to-Gray) response time... Don't really know what does he mean with "total", but overall 5ms is not that bad.
  15. This monitor indeed seems to be a very good IPS monitor for the price.
