  1. Right, I see, I'll read more about the blade stealth, cos it does seem that the i7 models of skylake do cpu throttle quite a bit in ultrabooks. If i was to choose between XPS or surface, gotta be XPS. Thanks a lot!
  2. And ya, my friend has been getting issues with the XPS hinge, and I heard about the coil whine being a huge problem. Thanks Right, I see, but what about the battery life of the Razer. Because that's my main concern, my friend has the skylake model and he only has a few tabs open in chrome, apprently it only lasts 4 - 5 hours, which is quite short. Waddu think?? Btw, DAMN that surface pro 4 is cheap, the one that I can afford is the one with i5, which costs 1000usd. but damn 1100 for i7, that steal.
  3. Hi. I've been trying to compare the three laptops and can't decide. There's also not much comparisons between these two. Trying to choose between Razer blade stealth (i7 skylake with 8gb ram and 128 gb) vs Dell XPS 13 (i5 kaby lake or sky lake, 8gb model) and Surface pro 4 (i5 skylake, 8gb model). I'm mainly choosing between the razer (for its good hardware) vs the dell (for the battery life and decent hardware). Any advise. I'm trying to take everything into consideration, I'll be using this mainly for productivity and school. So battery life is kinda important, but is it worth giving it up for that skylake i7-7200u? P.S. If you think Dell is better, should I choose kaby lake (940 usd) or skylake (855usd). Is the price difference worth it? Thanks!!
  4. check the inspiron 7599, inspiron 7567, acer VX 15. Or even thinner and cheaper, look for asus laptops such as UX330. But if you wanna go thinner go for razer blade stealth or xps 13. Honestly, iGPU can do overwatch at low framerates, even the new xps13 i5 kaby lake with HD620.
  5. But isn't having a dGPU better? I'm not sure about laptop gpus
  6. Right, so you think that if I was comparing between the Asus UX330, razer blade switch i7, xps 13 i7 and this. I should get the xps, due to its superior battery life? Cause you see I have a 1000USD budget, and I'm looking for lightweight and battery life and some light games. And you're saying that a dGPU is so shit that a internal gpu is just as good?
  7. Really? Compared to the GT 920 2G on a older version of the laptop, is that better? Thanks a lot for replying btw
  8. Ideapad 510s: Specs: Intel i7-7500U 8gb ddr4 256ssd AMD Radeon M430 2G 2.5 kg Price: 1056USD I was looking for a 13" laptop that was thin, around 1000USD and had decent specs and came across this and was shocked. Apparently, most regions only offer the same CPU but integrated GPU. Is this worth buying? I was comparing this with the Razer blade stealth (i7-6500U) and xps 13 (i7-7200U). So far only problem is the mushy keyboard and flimsy chasis. Does this seem too good to be true?? Btw, first time posting on this forum, tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. Thanks!!
