Maybe put the two fans at the front and keep the exhaust. I have 3 intakes and 1 exhaust and i get decent temps.

    I'd suggest getting a branded 500W. Here's a reference: (Get at least a Tier 3 PSU)

Who knows what might happen with a generic PSU? And with SkyLake, 500W is more than enough imo.

Because it's not really necessary. front lower intake and rear upper exhaust just proofed to work well enough. Especially with modern efficient hardware. Of course you can fit a side fan, but it's always a hazzle (power cable?) and depending on position more likely to be aimed at you compared to front/rear fans.

For the amount that you pay for a normal PSU, that's a great deal, nothing is overkill unless your paying overkill. If it's in good shape then take the offer.

You can get a decent 650w psu for $50 so if the second hand one your looking at works I would go for it, opens open your computer for some higher end hardware down the line

That G-series for 50 dollars is a good deal. Just buy it, doesn't matter that it's overkill.
