    This is a joke, right?

Aluminum case for heat dissipation? The case itself dissipates basically zero heat, heat leaves through the exhaust air.

$200 80+ titanium PSU for a computer that will maybe scratch 100 watts? Never mind that not a single 80+ titanium PSU has MOLEX power for your GPU.

Debating how many 120mm vs 140mm fans you need? I guarantee these components were crammed in a case with a single 92mm fan in 2003. The stock fans in any modern case are way more than enough airflow. You could put this computer in a sealed cardboard box and it would take half an hour for anything to throttle.

Depends on where he lives and what kind of insurance is available.

Typically in Canada, something like this would need to be covered by Renters insurance. The owner of the building would legally have to have their own insurance, but that wouldn't cover any of the renters contents itself typically.

To the OP, I'm sorry for the loss of your home and your belongings, and especially to the pets. I hope you had renters insurance to help replace some of these things. If you didn't, hard lesson to learn. Talk to your landlord to see if any compensation is available - Especially if the fire was caused outside the home, there might be something they can do there.

PSA to anyone renting: Get insurance! Here in Canada, it's like $20-$30 a month. Don't count on some other insurance you don't pay for or control paying to replace your items.

Question, why do you want to overclock? There is no real improvement in overclocking vs stock except cpu using more power.. What new ryzen likes is low latency, fast ram.

There's way more to a company than just product launches of a single class.
    Look at the bigger picture.

    Revenue?
Intel made about $71 billion last year.
    AMD? $7 billion.

    If we're talking equity?
    Intel: $74.5 billion.
    AMD: $1.2 billion.

Which do you think is the stronger company?

The 150W trough the 8 pin is per ATX spec, it can do muuuuuuuch more than that. Your VRM can operate safely at 120ºC if it wants to, but it has airflow and a heatsink so it won't get that hot at all.

Your only issue right now would be not getting drivers from AMD since their drivers have a bios signature check and you'd have to find your way around the drivers doing that. Google it, more people have done it before.

Hopefully the cpu holds up. Actually really impressed this thing still works. Going to order the parts now.

Will try to update with some pics when done..
