  1. Hello, I bought graphics card and CPU cooler from my friend who smokes on regular basis. Now I want to clean metal part of graphics card cooler and GPU cooler (Strix GTX 1080Ti and Nocotua NH-D15). I don't smoke but my room smells like burnt cigarettes. As far as I can see on the internet, washing the PC components has become normal. My previous experience is not good. Few years ago I washed the CPU cooler and it became rusty. Can anyone tell me what is the correct and safe way to wash the coolers mentioned above?
  2. Yes, it is on Auto and currently allocated about 4000MB. Going up or down only for a few megabytes after few days of usage
  3. Still enabled. When I benchmarked cpu and gpu separately I got ok results for both. Only in games when everything needs to work hard together I am seeing very low gpu and cpu utilisation and performance issue.
  4. Hi, After I installed 970 EVO Plus I have huge fps drop in games. Before that I have 850 EVO and everything runs fine.M.2 SSD is installed in primary slot and running at the max bandwith which I checked in Bios. GPU is also running at PCIE 3.0 x16. What do you guys think? Other pc specs: MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon 32GB 3200MHz dual channel ram Ryzen 2700X and NH-D15 7x noctua 140mm fans Corsair HX750i
  5. I forgot to write that the main problem is that I have really bad fps and fps drops.
  6. Hi. I upgraded from gtx 1070 to gtx 1080 (both are strix models) and now my gpu and cpu usages are very low. I uninstalled drivers using DDU but it didn’t help. Cpu usage varies from 20 to 30% and gpu max 60%, while the same scene using GTX 1070 gives 70% cpu usage and 99% for gpu. What do you guys think? Other pc specs: 32GB 3200MHz dual channel ram Ryzen 2700X and NH-D15 Case fans 7x noctua 140mm fans Corsair HX750i
  7. I just found that the problem is Gear Down Mode. It is overriding Command Rate. Auto command rate with Gear Down mode auto (enabled) is showing 1T, but it is not. It is actually 2T and I can see that if I disable Gear Down mode. So this memory kit is not stable at 1T and that is the problem.. this is probably very low quality memory kit and my old CJR Hynix worked much better than this samsung.
  8. Ryzen 2700, MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon and latest version of bios. Never had a problem using old memory sticks from same manufacturer, same model of ram (Ripjaws V). SOC and DRAM voltage are automatically set to 1.152V for SOC and 1.36V for DRAM if RAM frequency is above stock. Yes, keying the values for primary timings to 16-18-18-18-38.
  9. Hi If I enter primary timings manually PC is not stable, but same value auto timings working fine. I want to tight up the timings but I have this weird issue if I touch primary timings, even entering stock values. Doing overclocking for many many years but never had issue like this. I have G.SKILL Ripjaws V 2x16GB 3200MHz 16-18-18-38 1.35V (Taiphoon Vurner says it is Samsung B-die, probably lower quality) Before this I had same kit but in 2x8GB configuration, Hynix CJR (great overclock and can change primary timings) Auto value - 16-18-18-18-38 - STABLE Manual enter - 16-18-18-18-38 - NOT STABLE Can anyone explain what is happening here?
  10. I connected that way but signal is still amplified by onboard op-amps
  11. Hello I have JDS Labs Atom and I want to use it in combo with my internal onboard 32-bit DAC which is pretty good. Now the thing is that I also have dual op-amps so the signal from DAC is amplified by internal op-amps and then it was sent to my JDS Labs Atom AMP. That is dual amping and it is not that great option. I know internal AMP is working because I can choose between three power options in Realtek control center (Balance, Dynamic or Ultimate) and every one of them is feeding my external AMP with different signal strength. Maybe on Balanced mode (quietest mode) internal amps aren't working but I can not confirm that. While waiting for JDS to start selling their Atom DAC, what do you guys think how can I bypass onboard AMP and use onboard just as a DAC.
  12. Eh what about external DAC.. This is huge upgrade anyway but should I consider external DAC since I don't have any problems with background noise, hissing or ground loop. Is it really needed?
  13. OMG this is unreal. The sound coming from headphones is brutal after I connected them to Atom AMP. Now I can even say that I have low end. Can't believe... Yes! You are 100% right.
  14. Yes I ordered it. Onboard is very good but Atom should be better
