What year is it?!

I wanted to try building an ITX system before even without any plan to move it around. I ended up spending way more than a regular ATX system (SFX PSU, flat ribbon cables, FT03-mini case, AIO cooler, m.2 ssd).
 
The increased desk space is nice tho.

I understand placing stickers on the laptop lid (behind the screen) for personalization purposes but I don't want to become a walking advertisement for companies; to each his own tho.

Don't buy unless you see the health / data written report - like looking at the mileage when buying a used car.
 
Still, I wouldn't put important data on used storage devices.

I'd like to see you just use a LAN / wired cable for your PC / smartphone / laptop instead of WiFi. If you won't, you're lazy.

I can only speak for AutoCAD 2D (blueprints and floor plans) and it is CPU bound. It runs fine on integrated graphics even on the busiest of blueprints.
 
i5-6600k and i7-6700 both ran without hiccups.
 
My laptop's i7-3537u (dual core with hyperthreading) struggles, however.

As Bensemus pointed out, having RGB peripherals / components doesn't mean you have to leave it at the rainbow disco show configuration; it just gives you the option (sometimes) to set the color to whatever color scheme your rig has going. It's better than being stuck with a blue LED keyboard when you have a black and red themed rig.

I don't see what's wrong with RGB. Few to no one has them doing the rainbow pattern. They just have the option to set the colour to whatever they want or off. It just gives more options to people.

You're fine I have a Corsair SF450 powering a 6700k and GTX 1070.

I'm willing to bet at max you're in the 300* watt range. A quality 450w unit is fine for an itx box. 

You may want to bump up to a 500w just to be safe, or really pay attention to how much of an overclock you apply.

if your overclocking you may need a higher watt power supply

You should be okay especially if it handled your previous setup.  The 1070 uses slightly less power than the 970, and going from an i5 to i7 may only add a few more watts at max.  Quality over wattage.
