I had no idea about this, but did you know nVidia Control Panel is no longer part of nVidia's driver?

If you don't have it already installed from previous drivers the only way to get it now is through the Windows Store... the only way.

What in the world is this? What the hell is going on with PC world!?

Damn I need a new hobby.

No idea why nvidia no longer provides the control panel to their products and forces you to download it from the windows store.

Since I have unnistalled the store altogether and couldn't even retrieve it I had to download an old driver that had it and then update to the latest from there, can not DDU anymore.

I think it has something to do with something called NVIDIA DCH drivers vs Standard. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4777/~/nvidia-dch%2Fstandard-display-drivers-for-windows-10-faq

Need to read over it but it looks like if you have to use DCH drivers, you can't use the old NVIDIA control panel

Also further investigation leads me to find DCH is a Windows thing ?
