Probably because they're pretty fresh to PC gaming and custom building in general, and expect a 1050Ti to perform well since it has "Ti" in the name, and all the other "Ti" cards are the best, the 780Ti, the 1080Ti, the 1070Ti, the 980Ti, etc.

But aside from that, I honestly have no idea

I just have seen quite a few of these threads lately, people complaining and all... hehehe
