Well today it has been the 4 business days G.Skill asks us to wait for processing once the package arrives to their office.

 

Still no reply back from them, I tried to make an account on their G.Skill Forum, which requires you 3 steps verification to simply be allowed to post a thread... so my attempts to get information on their RMA section were pointless as it has been 2 days already and my account is still not "active".

 

Now I have sent the first email to them asking a position on the matter.

 

I need to know whether or not they are replacing the memory for me before the end of the month as if they aren't I can still have my mother buy me it in NYC since memory availability in Brazilian market right now is near zero, only the cheap 2133mhz and 2400mhz variants of Kingston and Crucial are to be found.

 

Stressing.

    I had an absolute horrible experience with G.Skill's RMA process.  I came across everything from not paying attention to lack of work ethic during an attempt to RMA a set of memory.  All said and done, they did send me a brand new set, but the amount of work that I had to do to get it was pathetic.  Completely shitty communication.  

     

    I posted a status update on it.

    @done12many2 I did read your status update on the matter, trust me if RAM prices weren't so completely ludicrous as they are now I wouldn't have bothered... add the issue of international shipping and this also has been a hassle roller-coaster.

     

    Financially speaking though if they do replace me the 2x8gb 3200mhz Trident Z kit it'll be worth it... problem is the absurd difficulty in getting information what so ever...

     

    Lets hope for the best.

I'm very happy that it worked and I totally wanted to share with you guys [:

    @TVwazhere yes, not good to celebrate too fast, I sent the black and white Trident Z, who knows I receives the grey and red which is the one i dislike the most aesthetically xD

     

    Won't bother with it though the way I see it I am in profit G.Skill memory is not even for sale in Brazil anywhere right now due to the availability mess!

    On a cute note, last weekend I was bored so I decided to take the dust out of my old xbox 360 to play some gta v, terrible idea! 720p30fps made me cringe so bad xD

    Hahaha, I still like the 360 controller though :P Did it only run at 720p? Though I guess that makes sense, I was using one of my dads rear projection TVs when I played it!

     

    How long has it taken so far? A month? What a long time to wait. Hopefully their return shipping is fast. I RMA'd an Intel CPU once, return shipping was basically overnight. I'll cross my fingers in hope that it's the same for you!
