  1. I hate having to use Windows 10 with a FERVENT PASSION, I hope this initiative works miracles because I have multiple Linux machines at home, every single time I use one it feels so fast and responsive everything is coded so clean. Then I have to reluctantly return to windows & boot up it's disgusting face to play my games...sigh. This is why I love Valve so much... for their support of VULKAN, AMD, & LINUX they know what we the people want. I hope Blizzard follows suite (friggin jerks despite being so talented)...sigh.
  2. I just finished buying mine for $89.99 because I reloaded my prime account with reload credit for the first time so they gave me an extra 10$ just for doing that. I'm happy thought I'd let you know just in case you want to go that route. The warranty deal you have there sounds great though.
  3. Yeah man, And if your worried about MSI support just buy it from Amazon and pay $1.00 USD to add the 2yr protection plan. Avoid having to talk to MSI and let amazon handle any problems if they arrise they are great for returns and all that stuff. I'm going for it once I get back stateside (overseas at the moment) and build the rig in September ill update you on how things went.
  4. I am actually in the same boat as you I'm leaning towards buying the MSI B450 Mortar Titanium vs ASUS Prime B450M-A, I'd go with the msi for the following reasons: I have a 2400g and want more VRM for my APU setup. I love the amount of Metal over the VRM which just makes thermal sense period. It has a display-port-out which very rare for a matx b450 board. It has a backup BIOS feature which ASUS does not. And I don't give a poop if ASUS software is a bit easier to OC out-of-the-box I barely OC anyways because it damages my hard earned money & hardware long-term And if its anything like the B450 Tomahawk which I am most certain to have BIOS similarities with then I feel good about everyone's feedback on it.
  5. Im gathering components for a Ryzen build I will be using a HD60 Pro Capture card and I wanted to know if I should purchase a B450 Mobo or a X470. I've researched that the only basic difference is pci-lanes. Does it even matter in my case? Thought I'd reach out to those who would know more than me. Appreciate the help thanks.
  6. Have you checked craigslist? I would see if anyone is selling their stuff for a steal because everyone knows the new GTX's are on the rise. You may be able to snag a 1060 from someone a few miles away
  7. Mini Amp, Bookself Speakers, and 10" polk audio sub
  8. ¿(×_×)¿ Why do I feel like you're going about this purchase Bass Ackwards? I think you should at least expand your mental options and research better *bang for buck* alternatives so I revert to the standard answer most have given you *ahem*.... NO.
  9. I 100% agree with his comment DO NOT OPEN IT. Go buy another psu or replace it via warranty avoid the risk of damaging your components I recommend the EVGA supernova series.
  10. Hey I dont see why not, just triple check everything I guess. ?? I tend to lean on the side of over-engineered paths more often than not.
  11. The benefit of the 2400G is its integrated graphics other that its outclassed by the 8400 although for a few dollars more or maybe even the same if you shop around enough you could snag an 1700x which would have more cores and threads.
  12. Use an acrylic sheet under the PCB as they would for styling a modded build they are non conductive and easy to score and snap off to size and you can paint them as well.
