Just waiting on my R5 2400G at the moment. I am still going to order stuff from cablemod too but I think stock cables will work just fine for interim. Gskill 2x8GB @ 3000mhz, Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 (bootdrive), 2x 2TB Seagate 2.5" HDD in Raid 0. Cryorig C7 w/ Thermo Grizzly Kryonaut TIM, Corsair SF600. Oh, and I might wedge an RGB strip in there too. I will likely put in a GPU in the future but Raven Ridge is looking pretty awesome for an HTPC and Plex Server for the near term. I've waited over a year to do this build. Super looking forward to it finally coming together.

@ZombiPL I have to admire your packaging. The thought and care that went into just that, WOW!. The craftsmanship is beautiful. I am waiting for Intel Coffee Lake to be released this fall so I can put a 6core Intel CPU in my sentry. My feedback would be that (1) 92mm or (1) 120mm option could be made in the far end of the GPU chamber when shorter PCBs are used. A 14/15mm thick fan would work perfect in this case. I might take to modding my case to allow for that and adding a piece of mesh for intake filter. For some purists this might ruin the clean aesthetic but this would make 95watt+ CPUs a little more plausible in this case.

I know it would be a headache but offering custom or at least less-common case colors even if it comes at a premium cost. Would be an awesome differentiation in the crowded PC case market. I might take to spraying a metallic blue over the powdercoat. I know others have done vinyl wrap though, haven't made my decision yet.

    Keep up the good work!

6th week of Sentry manufacturing process

About 90% of parts already arrived. This last 10% are Sentry body parts from our subcontractor, PCI slot covers still being kept by customs services, plastic covers for holes unused in vertical position and printed carton boxes. Right now we are assembling a device, which we designed for cutting the rubber feet for vertical stand and also we started some first pre-assembly actions like sorting elements for accessory boxes, each element to their separate zipper foil bags.
It was one of the most busy weeks so far, but there is a lot more to come.

    This week we received:
    - all small steel elements which will be packed in the Sentry accessory box, both painted and unpainted (those without powder coating, which should be painted white, we personally transported to the paint shop):

    - PCI-E shielded risers:

    - power buttons with new professional wires sleeving:

    - rubber O-rings which will be used with power button (we didn't like the quality of the O-rings usually shipped with those vandal switches, so we just ordered better ones from different supplier):

We also sent photos and assembly drawings of the Demciflex filters to their manufacturer (Demcifilter), so they should be available from their website soon (probably here).

This time as a bonus we can show you how we sorted and packed those relatively bigger elements for accessory box:

Next week will be fun. We'll be sorting ~98 000 screws for your Sentry cases and also we should receive 1st shipment of Sentry steel body parts.

    Stay tuned.

I can see myself buying a 1400X, I specifically need a 65watt TDP CPU for the Dr. Zaber Sentry I ordered. There is no watercooling support or support for a large tower heat sink. It is limited to 47mm in air cooler height, I'm planning on a Cryorig C7. I see this offering being a godsend that Intel doesn't even offer. I was going to have to go with a 7600 non-K otherwise. At $199 that seems very fair. I'll buy-buy-buy all day long.

    First parts arrived today!

The most beautiful ITX motherboard to ever live? I think so.

I feel like these two parts match really nicely. Some more glamour shots..
