So the other day my GPU suddenly stopped when I was going into a CSGO match. Computer also stopped and after I restarted it I couldn't get pass the "Windows falled yada yada yada, Start Windows normally, Starting Windows". The moment the logo fades and I should get the user login the monitor flickers, it searches for source on all inputs and no dice. The computer is still running, just nothing happening.
I thought it was the GPU acting up. I tried starting on Safe Mode, it worked, so an hour ago I decied to see if the Mobo is the problem and put my Palit gtx 760 on another pci/e slot.
Okay, everything fine. Shit resolution, starting up, everything's okay. Let's update, get the drivers and restart. Until this point no problem whatsoever, I got the latest nVidia drivers and some Windows updates and did a restart. The moment it restarted and stopped showing the boot menu options Windows doesn't load. I'll attach the actual screen I get. It also stays an extended period of time on the initial startup menu (ASRock logo for my Z87 Extreme4).
Is it the PSU, Mobo or is it the GPU and what can I do about it if it's the GPU ?
Note: After the GPU stopped working I opened it up, cleaned the dust and also replaced the stock termal compound on it.
