  1. @Sedy92 No, I do not own one. As I mentioned -only my tablet is iOS, everything else I have is Windows based. Plus I want a light solution for travelling.
  2. Hello guys, I have a 9.7 ipad pro 2016. Recently I've been doing my work on it while on the go and I can say that I am really enjoying it. My only problem is this - when I have to make a presentation, up until now I've had to transfer my stuff to a Windows PC(I do not have any other iOS device) and present from there. I know there are Lightning to VGA/HDMI adapters, but for me 120$ for a single adapter isn't a good deal. Can I run it with some kind of dongle atleast like the MacBook so that I get more for my money? Can any of you more experienced users recommend me something?
  3. As the others said chaning your thermal paste is more of a must than a could. Think of it as the link between your cpu and cooler (thermal link that is). Not having a good one will result in bad cooling or even worse. For the stock cooler, run some tests and see what's your CPU temp. If you have the extra money get a fan for your socket (take into account the case size) and with both this and the termal paste change you will have great results.
  4. No(yes, it does when there's problem). Everything starts, keyboard lights up, monitor also light up but no image is displayed. Edit: Yeah, beeps are enabled 100%. Edit 2: LEDs show code 62.
  5. @KyonEXE Plugged it both in the VGA and HDMI slots (two different monitors tested). Doesn't show anything.
  6. So the other day my GPU suddenly stopped when I was going into a CSGO match. Computer also stopped and after I restarted it I couldn't get pass the "Windows falled yada yada yada, Start Windows normally, Starting Windows". The moment the logo fades and I should get the user login the monitor flickers, it searches for source on all inputs and no dice. The computer is still running, just nothing happening. I thought it was the GPU acting up. I tried starting on Safe Mode, it worked, so an hour ago I decied to see if the Mobo is the problem and put my Palit gtx 760 on another pci/e slot. Okay, everything fine. Shit resolution, starting up, everything's okay. Let's update, get the drivers and restart. Until this point no problem whatsoever, I got the latest nVidia drivers and some Windows updates and did a restart. The moment it restarted and stopped showing the boot menu options Windows doesn't load. I'll attach the actual screen I get. It also stays an extended period of time on the initial startup menu (ASRock logo for my Z87 Extreme4). Is it the PSU, Mobo or is it the GPU and what can I do about it if it's the GPU ? Note: After the GPU stopped working I opened it up, cleaned the dust and also replaced the stock termal compound on it.
  7. Thanks ! I haven't tinkered in PC Building for a couple of years because my work PCs are not build by me. However, I'm asking because of the bandwith and how will it handle 32gb on quad for something like 3d modeling/rendering in Blender/Maya and Unreal Engine 4.
  8. Hello, So recently my motherboard started dying (ram slots and pci/e sloth) so I decided it was time to change things. I've yet to order them, so I'd be happy to read any advice. A little bit more info - I am a 3d designer and this is my home workstatation (I also game, yes). Was going into a match of Overwatch the other day when the graphics spazzed out, weard colours and stuff and PC restarted. Afterwards it worked, but then this happened - restart into can't pass "starting windows" screen. The moment there is load on the GPU the monitors start searching for source (yeah, does load on safe mode). I changed the sloth for the GPU and it started working again (mind the fact that the resolution was shit, due to no drivers on the sloth maybe?). Same happened a while back for my RAM and I went from 16gb to 8gb, tried swapping it around, didn't work. I know the system is old, that's why my idea is to change the MB, CPU and get ddr4 ram. So the topic title and question (outside from advice in general about my situation): What would be better in such a system - a dual channel 2x16gb 3000 hyperX or go 4x8gb 2666 hyperX savage ? I know there is a difference between dual and quad channel speeds and load allocation(?) but can someone tell me more? Currently I'm dying with: MB - ASRock Extreme4 Z87 CPU - i7 4790k Thinking of getting (budget of about 1250-1400US$) GB X99-Designare EX /LGA2011-v3 i7-6800K /w CM Hyper 612 V2 2x16gb DDR4 3000 Kingston HyperX First time ever I get such problems hence why I don't really know what's going on.
