  1. Sorry for the double post, my computer has a mind of its own sometimes :P+
  2. Sorry, for the late reply, I have updated the UEFI with little effect, mine is running on a 280 rad, temperatures are completely stable at around 65 C under full load, it is just strange, in certain tasks, I only get 4.2 GHz, to be more specific, when trans coding video, I was able to get it up from 4.1 to 4.3 by increasing the multiplier to 4.6. Everything is completely stable at these speeds. When I play a game, it should be noted, I receive the full 4.6 GHz, however, I am still curious why I am not getting the full performance. There is no down clocking, I have checked with AIDA, there does not seem to be a problem, it appears to be a strange problem. I should note that I am trans coding with Plex, I am aware that it is not the best trans coder, however, I stream from it, so I wanted to optimize everything so that there would not need to be any on the fly trans coding when I request a video from a foreign location. I hope this more detailed information helped. Sincerely, Jake

  4. Hello, I recently got a 6850k, however, it never reaches maximum clock during certain operations, it is currently stable at 4.4ghz. That being said, if I run Aida64's FPU test, the multiplier only goes up to 4.1ghz at max, while temperatures are in the high 40s and low 50s, that being said, if I do a simple CPU stress test, I can get 4.4ghz. Unfortunately, I do a considerable amount of rendering, while rendering video, I only reach 4.1ghz again. My friend has a 5820k and he does not run into this issue so I am curious what is going on. For other information my build is as such: EVGA x99 Classified Intel 6850k (Water cooled twin 140mm fans) EVGA 1200 watt PSU 2 x Nvidia 980ti 950 nvme drive 512 GB 850 pro 512 GB an assortment of other disk based drives for archived storage Any help is greatly appreciated, Sincerely, Jake
