Ryzen 1600 at $80 is an unbeatable value, but Ryzen 2600 is faster. Intel's i5-9400F is a better gaming processor than either, but it's only got a slight lead and it's a 6C/6T CPU so in theory it might not age as well (my crystal ball isn't sure though).

I might just go with the i5 9400f I’ve heard good things also I only have a 430 watt psu.

  2. I’m looking to buy a cpu for purely gaming around the budget of $140 and less for the cpu alone. What’s the better option AMD or intel and which one specially should I get? Also if it matters what so ever I have an rx 570 4gb. Use microcenter as the reference for prices.

  3. I need to get a windows 10 key because im upgrading motherboard where should I get it? My activation settings says "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account" does that mean I dont need a new key?

  4. I’m trying to sell my Intel core i5 7500 cpu and Gigabyte GA-h270 Gaming 3 Motherboard. It already has windows 10 activated on it and both come with all original packaging, cables, and io shield. Both are in good condition and about a year old with light use just Gaming. I’m not trying to sell it here just wondering what I could expect to get or be offered for it?

  5. I’m building my dad a ryzen build for his business and I’m wondering how much ram he will need. He’s gonna be using chrome usually having upwards of 20 tabs open, he uses excel, and a few other assorted programs he uses to keep track of his business finances. It’s gonna be a Windows 10 system if that matters. Should he get 8gb of ram or 16gb ?

There's not a huge difference in them, aside from maybe the fact that you can upgrade the Athlon to some Ryzen CPU that would have better performance with both CPU and graphics performance, but since that's probably not important whatsoever then you can just get the config that's cheaper, Athlon with A320 board (the only CPU I recommend using A320 with, and even then it's a stretch) or Pentium with H310.

Alright thank you for the help I really appreciate it
