  1. I was thinking of a MacBook Pro. They have better specs than the regular MacBook and I've heard good things about them - except for the fact that a bunch of extra cords are basically required now, depending on your usage. Yeah, I've heard that they're light and very portable, and that their battery does last longer. Software wise, I have been told that everything is superior to Windows and things look and feel smoother all around. I've read that Macs do more with less, in terms of hardware, as in everything is made to work for the hardware, so it won't really feel slow.
  2. My budget is between $1500 and $2000. I have no clue what to look for in laptops.
  3. I'm extremely interested in programming. I might try to experiment with other, more creative things, like photo editing and stuff. I play League of Legends, but that game is available on a Mac, and it doesn't exactly require a super heavy duty gaming computer. I guess I really just want to know what the pros and cons of buying a Mac are. The biggest questions I can think of are as follows: How long do they last? How reliable are they? How user friendly are they? How comfortable are they, in terms of portability and use? Are they really worth the price premium?

    HTML & CSS

After I learn the basic structure of HTML and CSS, and how to make things work the way I want them to (like managing the "cascading" part of CSS), what do I do? Do I just need to mess with stuff, experiment, and use references, until I get a bit more familiar with the languages? Should I try and find some courses to take? What would the best course of action/path to follow be? How true would the suggestions in this post be? I'm looking mainly at the first answer.
  5. Web Development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  6. Treehouse is a paid learning service with the purpose of teaching many different programming languages and professions. It's somewhat pricey, so I hopped on here to ask if anybody would like to share their thoughts on it. Past experiences, observations, etc. Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond.
