I think it's a bit unfair to say that. The truth is any engine can blow its head gasket if it's not maintained properly, now yes certain engine designs are more susceptible to this. The Rover K-Series was another engine that was known blow head gaskets regularly, this engine used a sandwich layer design with head studs that went all the way down to the sump.

It's mainly down to the infrastucture (or lack thereof). The infrastucture for EV's is pretty poor currently and hasn't improved much since they became more mainstream.

As @Trik'Stari mentioned the bigger problem is being silenced. From my experience it's the moderators who silence people the most and get very abusive when they disagree with you. I'm not going mention names but I've had this happen to myself in the past.

Obviously while the main focus of this forum is tech, I don't see a problem with posting political status updates. People naturally put the world to rights, sometimes unintentionally. Personally if the opinions or views don't match mine then I simply don't reply, I know some people can get carried away and start a petty fight but that rarely happens (from my experience anyway).
