  1. I am no longer able to boot to desktop on the nvme, nothing is plugged into PCIE4. Nothing is showing up in the M2_1 slot regardless of what I have in there. I did try booting into Windows on my old drive but the WD NVME still didn't show up diskpart. When I was initially troubleshooting the sata issue I tried all the sata ports that should have worked but it didn't change anything unfortunately
  2. Hey I recently upgraded my AB350 Pro4 from the Ryzen 5 1600 to the 5600x and updated the bios to the latest version of 7.40 to support that change. At the same time I upgraded to a WD SN850 and successfully installed Windows on it. There wasn't any problems with the drive or Windows until I tried to get my SATA drives working again and managed to get the M2_1 port to not be readable. I did verify it was the port by plugging in the NVME drive on my laptop. I tried finding a workable driver to load into the Windows installer but the WD website doesn't have any drivers that I can just load in. There is a zip online for Windows + Intel optane but for obvious reasons that doesn't work. I do have the option to load my old drive in and install AMD Chipset drivers (or use the WD software) but I don't know if there's anything obvious I'm missing. For reference I have tried CSM both on and off and checked the onboard devices for the option to enable M2 but it was missing. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  3. They're already plugged into the Commander Core, the proprietary connection to power included which I thought would control the pump. Edit: Sorry about the mess of cables, troubleshooting made mediocre cable management way worse
  4. All of the Commader core stuff is plugged in, currently trying all of the available power supply slots to see if it's an issue with that. Should I be plugged into the CPU fan pin regardless?
  5. USB 2.0 connection in the middle here with the actual cable connected into CPU_FAN1. I've tried both ports for the USB connection
  6. So the rig I'm trying to get up and running is an i9-7900x with an x299 Tomahawk motherboard that I got from a friend because he was having heating issues with his ~5 year old corsair AIO. I bought the H100i Elite to replace it but now that I installed it the pump still isn't going. I'm able to occasionally get into the bios and see that the CPU is at 95C with the pump showing 0rpm but I have no idea why it wouldn't be connected
  7. Just reinstalled, unfortunately did not fix. Used the most recent audio drivers for my Asrock AB350 Pro4 but could this be solved by rolling back a window version?
  8. My setup includes a Steinberg UR12 interface with an SM58 microphone connected to it and until recently it was always a little quiet, this was recently fixed by the Windows update. Unfortunately for some reason my second input (HI-Z) no longer works when I plug in an electric guitar or bass. My input devices themselves only show the microphone which is the "Line". If this is a hardware issue where I should just replace it I'll do it, I just have no idea if this is software sided or not.
  9. The gain is all the way up on the interface and now I've disabled the audio inputs but phantom power doesn't seem to help in any significant way. I'm currently not using any software but I'm going to try and find out if there's a pad
  10. Hi there, my current setup includes an SM57/SM58 and they're connected to a Steinberg UR12 interface. While the recording quality is good the gain is about -30db according to my friend. I've tried to update the drivers and mess with settings but Windows doesn't seem to recognize the interface as its own thing as far as I can tell. I've tried software solutions to boosting the gain of my microphone but nothing has worked so far. And here is an example of the first sample being what is actually recorded and then what it should be if something was going wrong somewhere. If I'm missing anything obvious I'd appreciate the help immensely.
  11. My friend and I have a bet and I want to raise the stakes in a safe but disgusting way.
  12. You're absolutely right! My therapist said something along the lines that I should maintain achievable goals rather than one single massive undertaking. (Sidenote I think a lot of people could benefit from going to a therapist at least once and I'd wholeheartedly recommend the experience)
  13. There's a lot of things going on in the world as well as my life where it's not ok, but I've reached an equilibrium on my anxiety. You feel me?
  14. My friend has a Gtx 1080 and put it in his Aurora R6 prebuilt, which has an i5-7400. He exclusively plays Overwatch and while his setup should be overkill, his performance is suffering compared to when he had a 1060 installed. His power supply is 550W but I'm not sure if that's the problem, and as for his performance in-game it's only around 110fps on low settings. Any advice?
  15. Hey check out the Ryzen 2200G, it should be plenty powerful to do all you need
