So uh, I think I almost just killed something in my PC. I was just wiping off some dust on the top of the CPU cooler and, I guess I pushed on it a bit too hard because the entire thing just had a heart attack. xD

After a quick look around, I turned it back on but it kept showing CPU error on the debug leds which almost gave me a heart attack but, as it turns out, somehow the sudden shutdown messed up my RAM so it kept trying to load the OC I've set for it but it just couldn't.

I've now swapped the sticks and re-did my OC on them and everything works but man, that was very unexpected.

Guess I'll just turn it off whenever I need to wipe some dust off from now on, xD

Ps; feel free to call me an idiot because this should've been an obvious bad idea.

I do all the time but, I figured dusting off the top of the cooler shouldn't be a problem. Guess I was wrong. xD

what I think happened here is when you put pressure on the cooler the board flexed, and that caused the ram sticks to move slightly in the socket, causing them to not have proper contact anymore.
