Heyo, do any of you guys own open-back headphones? I could use some advice.

 

So, I'm looking into getting a new pair of headphones in the near future and, I'd like to know if an open-back one would be suitable for me.

As far as I understand open-back headphones sound more natural but, whatever you listen to can be heard by others so, my question is, how loudly can they hear it?

 

I listen to music quite often and, most of the time on high volumes so that could be a problem for the family.

    @OnyxArmos, As far as I know, they sound better than closed back ones.

    i have sennheiser hd558 for a few years. i can hear the sound leak pretty clearly, i don't take it out in public

    If you don't want others to hear then get closed back, especially if you listen to music loudly, everyone will hear your music.
