  1. Hello, While looking for a DAC/Amp Combo, I saw in the pinned topic "Before you buy amp and DAC + recommendations." (link), that the Schiit Fulla 2 is recommended. One the website of the company they now list a Schiit Fulla product (link), that is sold as the "Fulla 3" and replaces the "Fulla 2". On the product page, in the FAQ, we can see that the product appears as "I’m Fulla Schiit" in the sound control panel. The naming of the product and trolling in the FAQ page makes me wonder if the product is really useful. I have a "old" pair of Sennheiser PC350, and I have recently started to watch Bluray movies with them. The problem I have, is that the sound of the movies are pretty low, and I have to crank up everything at 100%. That problem is only present with movies, everything else is fine (Gaming, Youtube, Music ...). Would the Schiit Fulla DAC/Amp Combo resolve my issue ? Thanks
  2. Don't put your money on any Indiegogo or Kickstarter project/campaign. Linus did a video about a Zero Fan PC case back in 2016 (link), made by the company Calyos. Calyos did a crowdfunding campaign in March 2017. They were supposed to deliver it in September 2017. To this day, we are still waiting for that case; link to a topic from this forum.
  3. Would it be possible to have a video, or livestream, of the disassembly, of the broken Virtual Boy ?
  4. No GPS chip in the Ipod Touch, making it useless for Pokemon Go.
  5. To reply to the 10:50 statement My primary phone is an Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), that I use as a daily driver. I bought a refurbished Iphone 6s, at around 120$, just for "gaming" (Pokemon Go), because it runs that specific game as smoothly as 300/400$ android phones. It literally has only that game and apps to organize events with the community (Messenger, Discord, Telegram).
  6. Please test out the Red Magic 3 phone. To see how much the integrated fan helps. Teardown of the phone was made by JerryRigEverything (link). Edit : In Youtube comments :
  7. Edited the first post to include @Delicieuxz's topic. On which he talks about this update slowing down Windows 7 and 10 computers.
  8. I edited my topic to include/link yours. The cause is the same, the "April update", but the problems from each topic are not. My topic is focused on the "doesn't boot" problem, and yours on the "slowing down" problem. If a moderator wants to merge the two topics, feel free to do it. But now that one topic links to the other, it doesn't seem necessary.
  9. Edited the first post to add that some Avast and Avira customers are also impacted. These antivirus protections (Sophos and Avast for Business) are used primarly in businesses, and this problem can affect servers. It can freeze a whole company for several hours/days, and can make them lose a lot of money. I don't know who's fault it is here (antivirus companies or Microsoft), but this is pretty bad.
  10. Edit 2 : An other problem, related to the update, is also happening. It affects, Windows 7 and 10, and slows down computers. Original topic : The April 2019, Windows update, KB4493472, caused problems to computers with Windows 7/8 and servers with Windows Servers 2008/2012, with Sophos Endpoint Protection installed (managed by either Sophos Central or Sophos Enterprise Console). It caused the system to freeze or hang upon restart after installing this update. The device doesn't reach the user log on screen. Working for an IT company selling Sophos Antivirus protections, we had lots of tickets this week The solution is to restart the device in "Safe Mode". After which, or the update fails and there is a rollback, or it boots in safe mode and you can uninstall that update in command line. wusa /uninstall /kb:4493472 https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4493472/windows-7-update-kb4493472 https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/133945 Edit 1 : Users of Avast and Avira are also impacted. https://www.zdnet.com/article/windows-7-problems-microsoft-blocks-april-updates-to-systems-at-risk-of-freezing/ https://www.pcgamer.com/a-recent-windows-update-is-locking-up-some-pcs-heres-a-temporary-fix/
  11. Just watched the VOD on Floatplane. The show was amazing and funny, I really enjoyed it
  12. Yes, you'll have to install the program on each computer you use, to transfer those +250 path characters files/folders. Yes it's safer to eject, before unplugging. You can have real issues if you unplug and there is data being red or written to it. Linus did a video on this. You can try to restart explorer.exe, and see if you can eject after that.
  13. What is the brand of the NAS ? Synology has their own RAID system that work pretty well (SHR).
  14. Here's a simple software Ultracopier (link). You install it, and it replaces the Windows transfer utility. It handles without any problems paths with more than 250 characters.
  15. A Nvidia graphics card should work fine without the Geforce Experience. What is your power supply and CPU ? Did you try the card in an other computer ?
