Hm, what kind of cable issues should I look out for? I just know of the thing i plug into the back of my computer to get sound through my speakers

I have the newest driver for realtek HD audio installed and coupled with my new z270 PC MATE, I have been getting random static noises which is quite annoying. I am not sure if it is a board issue, or the drivers.
