  1. I haven't but I'll give it a go and see if there's a performance change. Thanks.
  2. Most drivers are up to date but my computer's performance was suffering originally with all fully updated drivers so I'm assuming thats not the problem.
  3. Running HWMonitor for both now, will provide screenshots when done. Thanks for the response.
  4. I've had my computer for about 3ish years and it was running well originally but has started getting gradually worse in performance. I have taken it into a shop and they barely looked at it and all the problems still remained. Despite being quite a high end PC I barely struggle to get 100FPS in LoL and other games and my CPU fan starts running so loud my desk is vibrating. The sound with the fan is a relatively new issue but my computer's performance has always been bad. No games can reach 144Hz and I'm sure there is a bottle neck issue or broken part but I am unable to identify what it is as I'm not a expert in Tech. Kind of a last resort as I don't have enough money to get a proper session for it to be inspected let alone repaired. If anyone can help me out I'm more than open to try benchmarks to figure out issues. Specs: GPU: GTX 1080 STRIX 8GB OG CPU: i7 6700k MOBO: Asus Z270 SSD: Samsung EVO 850 250GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 8GBx1 (other 8GB damaged) Appreciate any responses.
  5. I think it's a combination of the GPU not being stressed enough and the amount of fans I've got.
  6. Hello to anyone reading, I really, really.. need help with how my first new PC is performing. For the first couple of weeks the computer was operating like a dream, Ultra Graphics, 144hz, 200+ FPS and now it's dropping to around 50-100 FPS. I'm really confused as to what to do because I am almost confident everything in the tower itself is connected correctly and I am not sure about much else because I am very new to Windows and PCs in general. Problems I have occurring: Really low fps in games. Some strange blurring on objects such as trees in games. Seems to operate slower than usual. If this is any help to what is going on these were taken in some hardware monitor: [No Stress] http://imgur.com/UYcX3tj [Under Stress] http://imgur.com/WJN3Ai1 Could someone please take a look at the screenshots and tell me if anything looks out of the ordinary because I am really desperate for some type of useful help. *Tried to embed the images put they were huge and I am terrible with figuring this stuff out. Things I've Tried: - Scanning with Malware Bytes and Anti-root Kit (nothing found). - Swapping to newer and older drivers, wiping drivers and reinstalling. - Optimising my games. - Taking out GPU, RAM and unplugging cables and replugging them.
  7. Can I use my same windows product key as before?
  8. Tried using DDU and completely reinstalling drivers. No success. I'm going to try clean windows and reinstall everything, can one of you please give me a brief guide on how to safely do it?
  9. Oh that could potentially be the problem as I'm extremely new to windows and wasn't aware thats how the drivers worked so I've probably got ten over the top of each other from going back and fourth. If I use DDU now could that fix the issues? I've got a really terrible old ASUS ROG 1080 STRIX OC 8GB
  10. I play games such a BF1, Rust, Rocket League etc. All games have performance issues and I've attempted to downgrade to older drivers and use hot fixes for newer drivers.
