  1. The setup will be fixed. I've been looking into UST projector, the only problem I see is that they cannot be mounted to ceiling. Suggestions for some projector models available in the market would be great.
  2. Btw, a seperate sound system will be installed with 4 speakers installed in the ceiling. The visual experience is what matters most.
  3. Greetings all, I'm working on an education center with two classrooms. Topics taught will focus on Digital Design and 3D modeling. Classroom space is about 4.5m x 7m enough for 16-20 students. At first a projector was considered for digital media, but since the space is not very large TVs were brought into the discussion. I've looked through each options and they each have pros and cons. I would like everyone's opinion especially those with experience in such nuances. Anyway, here are the variables: * Viewing distance 2m - 6m * Minimum screen size 75" * Lighting conditions need to be maintained at a constant level, no switching on or off since most will be working on their computer, sketching or working on physical models So far a projectors, size and price are the only advantages, TVs trump everything else. Btw, if a TV is selected 2 will be installed side by side. Your opinions are valuable.
  4. DiyAudio... If only they would respond... They seem to hate discussions with beginners
  5. Wow, What a video. Dude is a joy to watch. it still leaves me a few things un answered. How does the crossover board work or how does it get connected? it seems Matt from DIY Perks is a very handy man able to make his own crossovers from parts. Its really not my bread butter to figure such things. If a pre assemble board is available, I'd rather use it.
  6. Oh yes, there will also be a passive radiator in the mix
  7. Greetings Audio peeps, I'm working on building a bluetooth speaker, high emphasis on design asthetics, will be using natural wood, milled aluminum, etc. I've been doing my research day and night, for most part I have a clear idea of everything, but for the love of God, I just couldn't figure out the whole crossover business. I'm willing to get boards that will simplify the assembly process, mind you it will be a mono speaker. Here is my planned setup, Cabinet, 4". 4". 10" Drivers, 2 Tweeter, https://www.parts-express.com/Peerless-BC25SC06-04-1-Textile-Dome-Tweeter-264-1028 Woofer, https://www.parts-express.com/Peerless-SLS-85S25CP04-04-3-1-4-Paper-Cone-Woofer-4-Ohm-264-1600 Amplifier, https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-KAB-100M-1x100W-Class-D-Audio-Amplifier-Board-with-Bluetooth-4.0-325-122 Now, to the crossover buisness I found this Dayton crossover board on part express, but there is absolutely no documentation on how it fits with all the part. https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-XO2W-4.5K-2-Way-Crossover-4-500-Hz-260-148 My theory is that it has a specific cutoff point, and then, the Tweeter's low frequency cuts off, and vice versa for the woofer, all in one board. P. S I also plan to add a wireless charger on top, For that, I need a step down voltage board and the charging coil. Wiring it would be a challenge.
  8. It uses inferred to detect the input position... I'm aware of the technology... I just want to know how reliable this specific brand is
  9. Greetings All, I'm currently building my own office and meeting room... Small area... During the deaign process I was wondering how I can make my TV touch compatible. I didn't buy a TV yet but it will something around 60" hooked up to an HTPC that would serve as an entertainment, meeting and 3D rendering support unit. During my search in the we, I've come across ChingYing inferred frames li k below. They don't seem to have any reliable reviews or videos on Youtube... I've seen similar products, PeauProduction but they don't sell them any more. Any one has any knowledge regarding this product. An LTT youtube review would be great? P. S. The office is going to be used by Architectects and Designers. Edit: Forgot the Link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D1ZFRYQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BOINCb92XWRYR
  10. problem solved...the cpu was not the issue...in fact, it had some good silicon as managed to overclock up to 4.3 Ghz with 1.35 V and temps around 58 C... I've seen other on the internet struggling to hit 4.2 Ghz at 1.4 V anyway... The problem was a compatibility issue between the Sabertooth X99 and the CPU...despite ASUS's website claiming that it supports the chip, the mobo doesn't support Turbo Boost 3.0... Which was causing driver issues resulting in blue screen after awhile when Turbo Boost 3.0 tries to kick in. All I had to do was disable Turbo Boost from the Bios and do a manual overclock...no more crashes
  11. if the CPU can't run at what the manufacturer specified then it doesn't meet the manufacturer claims, which means its a defective unit
  12. I did Also notice that the CPU can't reach the maximum specified frequency... it sits around 3.49 GHz at 1.15 V
  13. So... Any suggestions? I will try to update to the latest BIOS and see how things go...
  14. This time the PC Crashed in 15 minutes....
