I have an MSI r9 390, and I find my idle temps unsettling. It idles at 70 degrees even after i changed the fan curve to not run in the 0% fan speed mode... Just cleaned out my case and it's pretty spacious with decent airflow (2 120mm intakes in the front and 1 120mm exhaust in the back). Is it supposed to get that hot or is it just my card?

So I can get a used r7 360 from a friend at 30$. I currently have a gtx 460. I game a 768p and am asking myself if the r7 360 is acutally and upgrade. If not, any gpu that can be better than that at under 50$ (can be used)?

On Newegg.ca there is like a 15$ difference between the two.

So for Christmas I'm planning to get a new computer for my brother, and I can get a really good deal from a friend for an r9 380x (120$ CAD he's upgrading to a GTX 1070). I was thinking about an i5 6400 for the cpu but I was asking myself if getting a 6500 or even 6600k is worth it. Thank you:)

It doesn't require any power connector but still uses 75w of power from the motherboard itself

I don't really see how you could mount it in the case, becayse the case is basically as large as the motherboard's io shield, so you would have to have a hole in the side panel and just let your gpu exposed out of the case.

If you look closely at the back of the case, it doesn't seem to have a pci bracket, so I don't even know if you can put any gpu in it. Plus it says it's made for htpc's so I wouldn't take a risk and look for another case.

I'm looking to change my mATX case for a cheap mid-tower case. I'm hesitating between the NZXT Source 210 and the Deepcool Tesseract. Your opinions on the cases?

Thank you guys for your reply. I'll try GalacticRuler's thing and if it's better I'll simply get a new case. I'm hesitating between the S340 and Phanteks Eclipse P400. What are your opinions on which I should get?

So I have seen my msi r9 390 getting pretty hot. I know it's supposed to get hot, but I constantly get 90-95C while gaming. It's in the Rosewill SRM-01 case, inside which the gpu fits, but do not get a lot of air flow. I would like to know if it's my gpu's fault and I should rma it or if I should simply change for a mid-tower case. Thank you!
