  1. Update: I used the Samsung Migration Software and got it to work, so all is well now. Thank you guys
  2. actually thats what I am currently doing. I found it right after i posted this
  3. So to keep it simple, I have a 1 TB HDD and I want to move everything to my new 1 TB SSD. I want to be able to boot from the SSD and gain the performance and what not. I have tried to find tutorials, but I would really appreciate it if someone could suggest a video and something free. ***I did try this earlier, and when I went into the bios to boot from the ssd (with all the hdd files cloned to it) it did not work. So thats why I am trying to get some help and just redo the process.
  4. I have not but I could try, it would definitely help. Thanks for the suggestion!
  5. Hello, this is kinda off topic although it does pertain to using a keyboard. I have an issue using some of my finger on my left hand. When I try to use my left pinky or ring finger I sometimes struggle. On my right hand I do not have this issue and I am right handed. I can use the fingers and use WASD but sometimes using shift and control like most people is annoying. I sometimes try hard to use them in causal games, but for more serious games I just bind Sprint or Crouch to my mouse buttons. Anyone have any suggestions to improve my dexterity or am I just physically challenged (No Offense) lol
  6. I appreciate all the help from everyone. I guess when I make an upgrade it will be the CPU and a better motherboard. Also I only got one stick of RAM that way I could save money and upgrade in the future. The motherboard does only have a 4-pin connector, although I have never heard of that being an issue, maybe that does have an impact on the performance.
  7. I don't think its thermals because I have manually changed the fan curve in the BIOS to stay aggressive and there was no noticeable difference. The motherboard is a MSI H110M Gaming, so it may be "cheap" although I think it could be worse. I have an overclocked 6GB 1060 which when compared to others performs better than most. I also have one stick of RAM but I looked up single vs dual channel and there was almost no difference, so idk. I also found a way to compare the clocks of others, that way it was only stock CPUs against mine. Here is a link to my specs -->https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Slifa/saved/7HRVnQ
  8. I currently have a i5 6600k and over time have notice my cpu to not be performing as well as others. I do have a K skew and do not overclock (dumb of me but lets not talk about that). My problem is that my cpu does not perform as well as other cpus even when they are both running at stock frequencies. I have used userbenchmark.com, and others benchmarks to try to confirm this but I do not know for sure. I know there are several factors that could cause this difference but if someone could try to help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I have a MSI H110M Gaming Micro ATX Motherboard, and I know this is not supposed to support overcocking but it has the option. In the bios I can set a multiplier and other settings (I would have to look if I get help lol) but when I do change the multiplier it does not seem to have an effect. The multiplier also caps at 42 I believe but anything below that or set to that doesnt work. I have an i5 6600k so some extra clock speed would be helpful. Anyone have any thoughts or should I leave it as is and wait to upgrade and get a motherboard that actually supports it.
  10. Try a different monitor, use the display outputs on your gpu (or motherboard depending on what you have tried) and also if possible try different outputs on your gpu (hdmi,DVI,etc..)
  11. I cant do that but I just looked into it more and saw that I can delete it through diskpart (cmd type thing). However apparently that is where a windows recovery "thing" (lol) is and if I ever need to recover then I may have to buy a recovery disk instead. I am about to give up, oh well
  12. It doesn't allow me to and it says oem partition but I swear I do not remember seeing this before.
  13. My only drive in the system is a WD 1 TB Caviar Blue. It is my C: drive, however somehow I now have a D: drive which is a partition of my drive. This would be okay if it did not show itself as being accessible, along with this windows give me notifications saying that it has low space and click here to free space. There is nothing on the D partition thing and the pop up that is to saves space show 0 bytes to be freed if I run it. Please help me I have not had this issue before.
  14. I am looking for a card for my 1080p 144hz panel and i was wondering if i could get away with a 6gb 1060, i haven't decided on a version yet but definitely not one of the mini ones. also i wouldnt be playing anything very intensive, the most would be bf1 probably. any help or suggestions are appreciated.
  15. I have a question, I have a MSI 970 Gaming X right now, and i was wondering if I could SLI another 970 even if it wasn't MSI branded but of course a 970. Any answers appreciated
