EpikFlyingBrick got a reaction from X1XNobleX1X in Radiator leak, gpu isn't working
It did feel oily when I was cleaning it up, which is why I don't understand why it's not working. I didn't have this thing for that long, so I doubt it picked up too much metal. I think it's been about 6 months.

EpikFlyingBrick got a reaction from Dabombinable in FX-6300 vs. Pentium G3258
technically it only has 3 cores. its kinda like intels hyperthreading but they are recognized as separate cores
ive been looking at this http://techreport.com/review/26735/overclocking-intel-pentium-g3258-anniversary-edition-processor/3and it seems like an overclocked g3258 competes with the fx8350 when its overclocked. and I know that the 6300 doesnt compete with the 8350 even when overclocked

EpikFlyingBrick got a reaction from airdeano in Anyone on here have the Deepcool Captain 360 AIO?
I've been looking at the Thermaltake water 3.0. I wonder if that's any good. -

yeah, i'd bought one and sent it back pronto. once installed, put power to it and
the noise was 3x louder than the swiftech H220 pump grinding. rocked the case
back-n-forth to dislodge the air pockets and still was noisy. after a couple of
days no-joy and to boot a little surprise a slight moisture build up between the
pump and reservoir. 5hrs later back to amazon with a RMA and got my payment
refunded. your experience might be better, but i wouldn't recommend this to
anyone. i'm contemplating getting the kelvin 360, if i can find a european dealer
that won't tear my head off in shipping (to USA).

EpikFlyingBrick got a reaction from AlexStriz in Phanteks Enthoo Pro Build
I cancelled the order on the dimmer, wasnt going to get here for over a month, and didnt even leave the warehouse yet. so I ended up just getting a RGB controller and hooking that up to my led strip, which was cheaper and I got amazon prime 2 day shipping.. Only problem is the remote doesnt work through the side panel window for some reason. so I have to reach behind the case and control it through the rear vents. But I'm not going to be messing with it that often so no big deal. The first pic is on lowest brightness and the second one is on the highest setting. Right now I have it at about the middle. The leds do seem to look a bit brighter in the pictures though. so keep that in mind....

EpikFlyingBrick got a reaction from mikeeginger in Phanteks Enthoo Pro Build
Heres my build, just switched to this case from the Corsair Carbide Spec-02
This case is absolutely amazing for the price.
Specs:
CASE-Phanteks Enthoo Pro
CPU-AMD FX-8320 @ 4.7ghz
GPU-Gigabyte Windforce GTX 760 4gb
MOTHERBOARD-Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
RAM-Avexir Core Series Red LED DDR3 8gb @ 1600mhz
PSU-Corsair CX600
SSD-ADATA SP600
HDD-WD Blue 1tb
The lights are just a red led strip that I found on amazon for like $7 and then wired them up to a molex connector.

EpikFlyingBrick got a reaction from TheMidnightNarwhal in 25$ enough to start sleeving?
I personally have the rosewill sleeved cables, and they're pretty good for the price. Cheap and ive had no problems. you could probably buy a whole set for under $30
edit: oops, didnt notice this was already solved, would you mind marking as solved so people can find this later on?

EpikFlyingBrick reacted to Akolyte in Why is this happening?
Before you go RMAing your motherboard Reset CMOS and update your BIOS. An update might fix the problem.

EpikFlyingBrick got a reaction from D3MON in overclocking fx-8320 issues
An fx-6300 and an fx-8320 wont even come close to bottlenecking a 610... I would like to find any cpu that would.
