  1. Thanks for all the responses people this put a new perspective on things. It just fascinates me that single core performance could make such an impact.
  2. Ok so I've been doing some research and It's very intriguing to me IPC in general. We have Quad core processors topping 150 in single core performance (for cinebench). Well what if you had something like 300-400 Single core performance on something like a dual core and have the 150 on a quad core? What difference will it make from games and other such things (again going from cinebench)
  3. Could this do Battlefield 1 at Ultra 60fps? I see people with an i5 6400 and a 480 getting that. 1080p of course!
  4. Yea I know but I wasn't looking into Ocing anyway. But I believe I can knock that guy down 100 for 400 now that would be good
  5. Well its for a trade not buying and I. Also was looking into a locked i5 cause I got money in the bank.
  6. Hello I was wondering if this would be a good upgrade over my Lenovo Y700 which has the 6700hq 960m and 8gigs of ram. Case/ (titan 240-AZZA side panel is real glass) Motherboard/ (b250m pro-vd) Processor/ (intel pentium 4560) Graphics card/ (XFX-RX 470) Ram/ (ballistix 8gb stick) PSU/ (500w bronze) Memory/ (500 gigabytes) System/ (windows 10)
  7. I had to lower down to 640 because I was getting minor artifacting in BF1
  8. Gaming experience before was OK but it had a few hitches and stutters now its as smooth as glass
  9. Nah it aint overkill in my opinion I would put a 1950x and sli that 1080ti
