Nope, i've bought around 5 licenses already from them with no problem, plus Paul recommends them.

I would get ryzen 7, to allow for more cores and better future-proofing, and definitely buy your windows 10 license form kinguin or other reliable windows key distributors for cheaper

Yeah, I know that now, but I need to use it as it is the only way to control the mobo leds.

I have managed to install all the other apps it recommends in the update, including SIV, but it doesn't include Ambient LED for some reason. Love the mobo but the software is terrible.

    Like the GIF btw.

Get Windows from reddit or kinguin for 20-25$.

Why not ryzen? Why not get Windows from kinguin or reddit for 20-30$ it is legit. 900$ and no SSD is not good so get a SSD as even 400 build are having one and it makes a huge difference.

If you think all of those parts will handle everything you throw at it then yes! (But M.A.P. is right) Get Windows off of eBay or something (IT saves some serious cash).

My main problem is with the 1060 3GB. It doesn't only have cut down vram but also cudas.  A rx580 is a much better deal and it will be about the same if not better than the 1060 6GB in games.

While it does have the Asetek mounting, that thicker part above might block the teeth on the bracket from going into the cooler.

If their configuator says it should fit via a visual check I don't see why it wouldn't unless something was overlooked. Just make sure your specific model is noted as being compatible for that block.

you cant get the best of the best always, and who cares about new sockets and cpu? even i7-2600k runs pretty smooth and it was released on 2011

6600K with a 1080 is a no go. The i5 is sure to bottleneck it in most CPU intensive games...

Nope. I would recommend a 7700K as it is the best gaming CPU out there. However, you should wait for Ryzen 5 which will cost like an i5 and perform like an i7-5820K

An i5 will match gaming performance up to about a GTX 1060 or RX 480.  If you go to a higher tier GPU you will see some mild to moderate CPU bottleneck.  Also, for 1080p 60hz, there is no need for anything beyond a GTX 1060/RX480.

    Base it off of an i5 7600k, an RX 480 4gb, and a z270 or z170 board.
