  1. Looks to be exactly 8,298,379 points https://stats.foldingathome.org/team/223518
  2. Just hit 100M points for the team! New hardware sure works a treat.
  3. I have the passkey and everything, I just switched to the new client yesterday, and haven't folded in a while so once 10 WUs are in it should be fixed.
  4. So that's why I'm getting 300K PPD with a 1080, a 1660, and an R9 290. Should be 2-3 days before that number breaks 2 million.
  5. Check your stats here - https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/search.php
  6. I might as well get warmed up, 3 GPUs are ready to do some work.
  7. Once JANK 3.0 gets up and running, FAH won't even know what hit it. The sheer amount of processing power to be unleashed will bump most everyone down a slot. I'm also getting a 1660 in tomorrow, so that should be fun.
  8. I may end up doing that, as I do have some dries laying around. I used a windows install USB to attempt to repair the drive, and also ran some commands such as Bootrec/fixbmr, Bootrec/fixboot, Bootrec/scanos, and Bootrec/rebuildbcd. I have no idea if they did anything, as I also ran the windows automatic recovery from the USB. Once it told me that it was not able to fix the drive, I booted to my ssd to find that I could boot into the windows install with all of the OEM stuff on it. It recognizes the original 1TB hard drive as the C drive, but it's very slow. I will see what I can do later, but for now I'm just going to let it sit for a while and see if it sorts itself out.
  9. Hello, So my parents have a computer that decided to crap out recently. The computer itself is unable to be fixed, but the hard drive and all of the data is still good. I slapped it into a Dell OptiPlex 390 as a replacement, and I am getting a "Selected Boot Device Failed" error every time I try and boot from it. This issue also persists on my test bench. I have managed to get a test ssd working on this system, so the only reason that it is not working seems to be an issue with booting off of the hard drive. There are 4 partitions on the drive, a primary partition (917GB), an EFI system partition (500MB), a "WINRETOOLS" partition (853MB), and an "Image" system partition (12.3GB). Any help would be appreciated on this matter. Thank you.
  10. If only I could stop getting these bloody 14163 x21 WUs that drop performance by 40%. I mean come on, look at this crap
  11. Don't feel too bad, I killed my R7 370 and it took me 6 hours to find out why windows wasn't working. Out of curiosity, what's your settings for those? Mine is 1050 core, 1250 mem, full fan and no additional power/voltage.
  12. That sounds pretty hot. Right where JANK is, it's over 105 degrees (41C). Doesn't seem to affect the temps of the card too much, but I really don't want to go in that room anymore. A small price to pay for salvation.
  13. Just checked out the JANK 2.0, and it turns out that that 11733 WU is causing the R9 290 to produce ~ 70% more points than the regular ones. Very interesting.
  14. Hmm... Mine's still super low. When you click on the project, it says it has no description/does not exist, which is odd. Can you see the description?
  15. Can confirm. I went from 1.1M PPD on a 1080 to 950K on that WU. I haven’t checked for AMD cards, but it does really cut pascal performance.
  16. I meant that we will have to kick out PC games hardware as well to be top 10, which should not be too much of a problem. I'm still baffled how they managed to get so many people on board with their currency in... 3 months?
  17. As a side note, we have to do something about the banano crypto team.
  18. Ladies and Gentleman, may I introduce... JANK 2.0. This second iteration of the garage test bench-turned folder uses a next-gen core 2 quad CPU and a massive 6GB of RAM to feed some of the most advanced GPUs money can buy. The real workhorses include the humble R7 370 and, the star of the show, the R9 290. If you look closely enough, you may even be able to see some of the most sophisticated VRAM and MOSFET heat sink mounting technologies ever devised. But, the real question is what do they produce? Putting all, even some previous leaders to shame such as @Den-Fi, @miker07, and @leadeater with it's whopping 320,000 Points Per Day. It doesn't get any better than this.
  19. I'm going to start up another GPU or two, 1,009,000 PPD is too close for comfort to 1M.
  20. @leadeater Did you ramp up a bunch of systems or something? Because before, you had 8 months or so before you caught me, now you're outpacing me by over a million points and just over a month away.
  21. Specifically, what dell vostro is it? I remember when I had two of those and was able to put q9650s in them with no issues.
  22. Wait... really? What am I doing? I have a vapor-x 7970 just sitting around. If I put that to work, by those numbers, I can triple my output in einstein. Even the 1080 I'm using right now finishes projects in 21 mins or so, and that got 500k points pretty quickly.
  23. I have increased the time to five days in the store at least box, and .5 days in the additional days of work box. Do you think I should add more?
