  1. If anyone is trying to build this for themselves, I would recommend using a thin mini itx motherboard. I was able to cram an i7 and 2060 into the fat PS2, but a power supply brick would have made that impossible.
  2. This seems to be an add-in card for an ISA backplate, specifically the BM-401 backplate made by Matrix Integrated Systems for the Matrix Integrated Systems System 10 style 1104 descum machine. I hope this helps you find specifically what it is.
  3. Check the BIOS. You might only have one core/thread enabled.
  4. I have a kit of GEIL RGB SUPER LUCE 3000, and I've never been able to get it past 2933. I've tried on both Intel and AMD systems, with no luck.
  5. Just run the program, and minus it out. It will automatically start recording data about GPU temps and clock speeds. Then, after you GPU cools down a bit, run Fortnite until you notice the drop in frames. Wait a minute, then close out of fortnite and open MSI Afterburner back up. You will be able to click a tab that says "detach" at the bottom. Click that and extend it down so that you can see the graph of the clocks. Take a picture using either Alt+PrintScreen or Snipping tool, and upload it here.
  6. This could be heat-related. As the CPU and GPU are hit with a load, they'll clock down. You mentioned that it hit 85 degrees and it clocks down, which is two degrees higher than the throttling temperature of pascal cards (83C). Can you check the clocks before and after it slows down with something like MSI Afterburner?
  7. You're going to want to get another stick of RAM. Ryzen is heavily dependent on fast speeds and high bandwidth RAM, and the single 8GB stick running at 2400MHz is most likely limiting your system. Adding another stick, even at the same speed, should give you that performance lift you expect.
  8. Top 25! Google might have had a slight influence on the last week though. 21 MartinSince94 2949615 22175356 103245829 0.69% 0.68% 0.69% 22 Opencircuit74 3990549 44526754 100085756 0.93% 1.37% 0.67% 23 RollinLower 2766669 21206249 95781492 0.65% 0.65% 0.64%
  9. Can confirm, I just went there and it did the same thing.
  10. You mentioned that you reinstalled your drivers, have you used DDU for that? You could also try and lower the clock a bit, which might help.
  11. That means your driver crashed. Is the card overclocked?
  12. It seems like you have been folding the entire time, did you fill out the google form at the beginning of the month? On a side note, the push worked. 13. You could grab something like an R9 380 for $60 on ebay, which would be even better than the 1050 Ti. Just make sure you have the power connectors for it (2x6 pin if memory serves me right).
  14. I've got a couple of old server fans that are 120mm, 220CFM and super loud, but are fully PWM controllable. You'll have to figure something out for power, but these types of fans can be found as the Nidec BetaV V34809-90 on ebay for less than $15.
  15. I've tried different names and such, but I think it's flagged the card number. I can try that, but I think it's the card number google doesn't like. That is unfortunate, since I can only use the one card for this.
  16. I've signed up for so many different GCP accounts that google wants me to send pictures to prove my identity, no matter what gmail account I use. I guess I can't sign up for amy more .
  17. It's probably and outdated BIOS then. You can request for a "boot kit" from AMD, but I think they only send out 200GEs, which are second gen ryzen, incompatible with that BIOS revision. You may want to contact gigabyte and see if they can do anything if you just bought the board.
  18. You're probably right. Just to make sure, however, are you using the output of the 1050 Ti to connect to the monitor? Because the 2600 does not have integrated graphics, the DVI and HDMI ports connected to the motherboard won't display anything.
  19. Have you already put the system together and it does not display anything, or are you looking for what to expect after you do?
  20. If that's the case, you may be able to stop it by fiddling with the screws or applying some pressure to the top (or bottom, depending on where the fan is) and seeing if that stops it. It shouldn't take much for it to stop.
  21. I could be wrong, but that sounds almost like a fan rattling. Is it still spinning after you shut off the power supply?
  22. I meant that I keep tabs open on all of the instances to look at billing and activity. Sure, FAH is running on GCP but the tabs are local.
  23. It takes up huge amounts of RAM if you keep the tabs open. Just having the five I have now (across 3 browsers to preserve login info) takes up 8GB. I'm getting into that top 25.
  24. Ah yes. Look at that new R9 380 rip through those proteins. Ok maybe it was the 5 Google cloud instances I started.
