  1. My power supply has gone bad again (keeps shutting down under heavy loads and power button not working unless I flick the power button on the psu). I bought this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393445757927 as it seems to be good value. I think i remeber great wall having some quality units before. Anyone know ift this is junk or not?
  2. Just tried it now and it works to turn it off same as with the button but also doesn't turn it on without flicking the psu switch
  3. I have tried multiple times to flip it and plug them into different pins to no avail
  4. Basically, when i turn on my pc in the morning i press the chassis power button and nothing happens, then i flick the psu power switch from on to off and back to on pretty quickly and it turns on. It will then turn itself off so then I must flick the switch from on to off and back to on and the same thing happens. When i do it a third time if finally stays on. If i turn off the pc with the powerbutton its perfectly fine but once again if i try to turn it on again the power button just doesn't work so i flick the switch from on to off to on again then it will work first try if its within maybe 2 hours of when it last turned off but if any longer such as overnight then i need to repeat the process three times in total. What is casuing this issue?
  5. It should be fine really but its always nice to have peace of mind when it comes to your psu

  7. Yes the same rattling noise as the first psu. Last night it started squealing every now and again so maybe it’s the bearing? I may just change the fan to a new one as it doesn’t seem to be too difficult and I don’t want to mess around with any warranty anyway.
  8. I bought my first real pc maybe 4 years ago now. After one year the fan on the psu started rattling like crazy so i soon swapped it out for my xfx xtr 650w. This is supposed to be a pretty good unit but once again the fan has failed after about a year. I just want a psu that wont give me any headaches with the fan again. I need 600w+ and would prefer modular but its not completely necessary i just want it to be cheap as possible while still being a good unit of course. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
  9. Currently my 2500k at 4.47 ghz only runs at around 55c max. Would you say that the 2700k or 3770k is worth it over a 2600k?
  10. I've got a dh-n15 on it right now but i cant get it past 4.4ghz.
  11. I have a p8p67 pro system right now with a 2500k and a 980ti arriving tommorow. I want to play at 144fps 1080p on rainbow six siege. I want to know if i should buy a new x58 motherboard and some ecc ram (or what i have now if it is compatiable) and oc an x5675 or if i should keep my current motherboard and put a 2600k in it instead. I don't do any workstation/editing/renedering stuff just gaming and desktop use. Thanks!
  12. I have messaged him twice and both times he as seen my message but ignored it.
